Lillian sat up and looked out a window. Her jaw dropped, "No way."

"Who's that?" He asked in his typical, post-sleep grogginess.

Lillian untangled herself from Darren. She basically ran to the door, just as a knock happened. She opened the door and cried hugging him, "Leo!"

Leo smiled and ruffled her hair, "Hey squirt. It's Doctor Leo now."

"You finished medical school?"

"And have an internship at the hospital in town. You'll never be rid of me Lilly."

She laughed slightly before starting to cough.

Darren picked his head up in confusion… Must be relation… a brother maybe… She was mad that he didn't tell her about Cooper when she had the same secret. He stood up and looked out the front door wordlessly as not to distract them.

Leo looked to her concerned with the coughing, "Are you sick?"

"I'm fine," Lillian brushed him off and stepped back, "I thought you weren't coming back."

"And leave you with those assholes? Never," Leo looked around the house, "Speaking of which… Why the hell do you live here?"

Lillian winced, "Um yeah. Mom's in jail and I refuse to live with dad alone. So I'm staying with a friend?"

"Oh where is she?"

"He. Leo, it's a he."

Leo wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him. Her face was buried in his chest as he yelled out, "YOU MEAN YOU'RE STAYING WITH A BOY!?!?!"

Darren chuckled from his position in the doorway. He's definitely a brother.

Leo heard the chuckle and looked to Darren, "ARE YOU THE BOY?!"

Lillian sighed against his chest, her words were incoherent. Something along the lines of yes you big idiot, how the hell did you get a doctorate again?

Lillian pushed away, "Hey. Keep the gay in."

Leo gently elbowed her, "Do I need to remind you of-"

"NO!" she screeched.

Lillian facepalmed, "He's just saying that because he literally just finished med school."

"No I understand, that's cool. What kind of doctor? Surgeon… Neurologist… Ophthalmologist… Otolaryngologist?" Darren rattled off.

Leo laughed surprised he knew those terms, "I'm hoping to get certified for family medicinal care. I may have finished med school, but I still have an internship to get through."

"Going to med school and enduring an internship," He smiled and walked into the living room.

Darren sat on the couch and looked between Lillian and Leo. "Can I get you guys something? Water? I would offer food, however, I've been living off of toast and bubble gum,"

Lillian sat down next to Darren, "Ninety percent sure he's lived off ramen for the past four years."

"I DID NOT!"

"DON'T FUCKING LIE TO ME!"

Darren chuckled and rested his arm on the back of the couch around Lillian. "Ramen is good though, not to me anymore but to normal people,"
