"I could make them know that." He smiled, "I'll go in the middle of the road and just stand there, when someone hits me and the car breaks while I'm still standing they'll be like… that bitch is a vampire,"

She laughed. "And I'll just stand there like 'Are you kidding me?' in two halves and everyone will probably just think that we're twins that are all dressed up like an angel and demon."

"Yeah and then I'll sick Convel on them, 'cause no one judges my girl,"

She giggled and cuddled into his chest. "Aww that's adorable."

"Ya know, I try," He laughed and held her close.

She looked up and gently kissed him. "You taste like saltwater. Just pointing that out."

Ryan laughed, "I would hope so…………….. We're in saltwater,"

"Like I said, just pointing it out." She chuckled.

Ryan turned around and pointed toward the street at a street light next to where they parked, "Remember that?"

"How could I forget? It was like the best moment of my life."

"Best… Moment… Of… Your… Life," He squinted at her… "That's giving me too much credit,"

"What can I say, you didn't really have that many good moments to compete with."

"Fair point," He kissed her with a smile.

She giggled. "I bet at least one person who's passed by has thought of calling the police thinking you kidnapped me. Bet five bucks that's happened at least once."

"What kind of kidnapper brings the victim to the beach? Why… what?"

"It's like the middle of November! What person in their right mind goes to the beach in November? They probably think you're going to drown me or something. Leave my body in the water and since no one goes to the beach in winter they won't find it till spring after it's had months to decompose."

"Or maybe they think that we're a cute couple who realized that no one would go to the beach this time if year so we have privacy now,"

She chuckled nervously. "Can you tell I'm a workaholic? My job follows me everywhere."

Ryan laughed as he walked to the shore with a smile.

She squeezed out the water from her braid onto the sand. "Ugh. Nothing worse than having saltwater in your hair."

Ryan shook the water out of his hair like a dog as he chuckled, "It feels cool,"

"Not when it dries and suddenly your hair is all stiff with salt. Then it's just annoying."

"Then you take a shower," Ryan laughed.

Cooper sat staring at his phone, every time he tried to pick it up his nerves got the best of him. This shouldn't be so hard but it was, he didn't want to annoy her, he just wanted to know if she'd be willing to hand out.

She laughed. "Yeah, I'll have to get a shower when we get home."
