Lillian sat down at the table. She eyed all of the food, there was a lot.

(Am I the only one that doesn't feel anything? Like 'Oh. Cool. Whatever.')

(^Actual mood all the time. However I feel that is an 'Oh shit' moment.)

Darren rubbed his hands together anxiously, it had been forever since he had Filipino food and it was always the best part of family get-togethers. Between being Filipino and Italian, his family never was lacking in good food.

"One of my friends from my old town. Why do you ask?"
'Can't right now. Kinda busy.'
'Aw, has little old me caught some attention?'
'Some? More like all. And trust me, this person is not happy about it.'
'Is someone jealous of me?'
'Not sure. I think so.'

Ryan shook his head and sighed before going silent.

"You are Filipino?" Sebastian asked as he took a seat next to Darren.

'Well that person needs to back off. And since you don't want to listen to me, I guess I'll just have to come find you?'
'Wait what?!'
She blinked in surprise. Ryder was going to what?
'Get ready gorgeous. I'll be there in 5 minutes.'
"Five minutes?? Ryder you've got to be kidding me!" She mumbled. This what not was she expected.

Ryder pocketed his phone and walked off, starting his search for his little angel girl.

Darren laughed and nodded, "And Italian. That's why half of us look so tan." He didn't plan on eating but this was worth throwing up for.

Ryan glared at the wall like he would kill it. He tapped one hand of claws on his leg restlessly.

The man handed Ginger something. It was a pendant. A silver heart with two gems encrusted in the middle of it. An amethyst and a topaz. She curled it in her fist and ran down the sidewalk, not knowing where she was going. Her mother didn't yell after her, she just let her go. Ginger stopped running when she was out of their sight, but kept walking. Leave. Leave. I have to leave. Move back. Get out of here. Now.

Lillian was grinning, "Which half is better Darren? Or do you love them equally?"

The majority of the table was looking at Darren expectantly, "The Fil– I love them all equally," He grinned innocently.

Lillian chuckled at his response. Of course, the little tease.

She covered his hand with her own. "What's going on? I don't think I've ever seen you so tense before."

He whistled as he walked, humming to a song only he could hear. He'd asked around and knew where she was staying, but now he had to find exactly where that was. "Don't worry baby. I'm coming."

Sebastian looked up from his hands but darted back down when he saw who was sitting across from him. This would be harder than he first thought.

Ginger squeezed the pendant so the stones dug into her palm. She began to sprint again. Tears flowed down her face and a sob escaped her lips.

(Can someone see Ginger running by? Like, out a window or something? Or Ryder could see her? Idk)

She covered his hand with her own. "What's going on? I don't think I've ever seen you so tense before."

Ryan took a deep breath and looked up at the ceiling. His brother added extra anxiety to every situation and now he was paranoid to no end.

Darren looked between Cooper and Sebastian. He gave Coop a sharp look that he shrugged of.

Now she was getting worried. What was going on in that head of his? "Seriously, what's wrong? Is everything alright?"

Ryder was walking along when he smacked directly into someone. (Ginger.) "Woah! Hey! Hold on a second!" He barely kept from falling over.

"I'm fine," He wasn't snappy but his voice held a growl, he balled his hand into a fist and his claws dug deep into his palm.

Ginger stumbled backwards and fell. Her head, thankfully, didn't hit the sidewalk too hard, but the necklace flew from her grasp.
