"Opps! Sorry! I meant to call someone else!" After that it looked like they weren't listening, so I created someone's mock murder and how I needed the man from before to help me. Still looking for the man who told me was named Kars.

Karmate sighs exaggeratedly. "My name is Karmate. I knew you didn't call for me, but I don't generally follow eddiquite. Probably something to do with my mom killing people for a living." They shrug. "Any case, something I can help you with?" The voice flows like honey over her, smooth and golden.

"I- I, uh," I suddenly forgot, oh, "I need to cross into the double, can you help me?" I guess he isn't coming back. I looked down at the blood red shirt I was wearing, and the jeans accompaning it. "I need to get home before my fourth job shift starts…"

I stepped outside towards the sound and saw a couple people talking. One did a mock bow and I could tell I wasn't supposed to be here. As a double jumper, I was allowed to talk to anyone I wanted to who I did not know. "What do you guys need? What brings you to the double?"

"Well, you see.." I start awkwardly. I took my jacket off and left my wings exposed to the cool night air. "I need to get home…"

Karmate looks at you and asks, "Which part of the Double do you live in? Caus, believe me, you do not want to get stuck in Limbo." She waits for your reply, leaning against the alley's brick wall.

"Arch street. I live in arch street." It wasn't far, but the power point was in a nasty club with really bad history.

I plopped down and began to eat my lunch, a bit bored that the group seemed to have not noticed me. "Oh well," I thought. "Who cares about them anyway, if they die they die."

(Oh alright.)
I step out of the shadows, crunching on my small bag of chips. I approach the men. "So crunch do you guys have a crunch death wish or something?" I say through a small mouthful of chips.

"No. But I'm going to be late for my next shift if I don't leave now. So bye." ELEPHANT spun around and left.

Well that was easy, I thought to myself. "Bye then. Don't die."
