She giggled and laid her own head on top of his. "Of course they're looking for me. They have been for way too long."
She giggled and laid her own head on top of his. "Of course they're looking for me. They have been for way too long."
"They brainwashed me to get us… I guess they could have tried harder. They could have activated the virus and made me Ripper you. Maybe they don't want to hurt you because the queen of hell is a good thing to experiment on,"
She laughed. "No, I think it's more that they know I'd murder their asses in like 2 seconds. Making Nami mad is a death wish."
"Nami," He said under his breath as if to take a mental note but maybe not for himself. "Yeah probably,"
Something isn't right here… She gave him a suspicious glance but shook it off. "Anyway, what to do now?"
Ryan shrugged, "So the angel, what's her name?"
"Evangeline. I just call her E. Don't call her Eva. If you do, she'll slap you."
"Evangeline, She is less of threat," He said the same way he had said Nami, like he needed to talk to himself to understand. "You hungry?"
"Starving. I didn't eat yesterday." The silence had made her lose track of time and she had ended up falling asleep on the kitchen floor so she hadn't eaten all day.
Ryan laughed, "Miss me?" He stood up and went to the kitchen, mumbling under his breath the entire way.
She shrugged. "Maybe a little." She giggled. "What are you mumbling about over there?" She hopped onto the counter like she so often did and swung her feet.
"Me? Nothing," He looked at her funny until going back to scavenge his barren home for food.
She frowned a small bit. Something wasn't right here. "Missing something?"
"Yes… I never have food, that's why they invented take out,"
She chuckled and snapped and the kitchen was filled with food. "It's only been, what, like 2 weeks? If you didn't have me you'd be dead or broke because you lived on take out."
"Well fine magic fingers, you get yourself food then," He sat down at the table whispering.
(He was in Augustine for 2/3 days)
"Fine I will." She snapped and lunch started making itself. "You want something?"
"Uhh, no… thank you," He smiled but drifted to staring into space, "21054,"
She shrugged, can't say she didn't try. Lunch finished, just a sandwich and some chips, and she began to eat, staring at him. Something about his whole demeanor wasn't sitting right with her. What the hell had these people done to her boyfriend?
Ryan was sitting up straight on the edge of his chair, hands folded… He never had posture he was a sloucher. He looked around the room like he was processing something new.
Okay, something definitely wasn't right with him. He was too calm, too proper. She tried to play it off, make it seem like she didn't know that her boyfriend had probably been replaced by a robot.
Ryan looked at her curiously with a charming smile. "You enjoying your food?"
She snapped out of her daze. "Hmm? Oh, yeah it's fine. Why do you ask?"
Ryan laughed, "Because I care about you and wanted to know if you were enjoying the food you were eating…. I dunno. Maybe to make conversation,"
This is really starting to put me off. I think I'm losing my appetite. She forced a chuckle. "I don't know, maybe you snuck in poison or something while I had my back turned? I just had to be sure! Better safe than sorry!"
"Ouch," He laughed, "Guilty until proven innocent again,"
She smiled. "Looks like your starting to really get your memories back. Do you remember anything else?"
"No ma'am," He smiled at the wall instead of at her, 210–Shut Up.
She put her sandwich down and the food and materials all disappeared. She laid down on the cold countertop, staring at the ceiling and thinking. What the actual hell had happened to Ryan?
"We should visit people," He suggested excitedly.
