"Help with what?" Lloyd cocked his head to the side slightly before wincing.
"Your wings. Or your neck," Lillian responded, "I just want to help with your pain."

"I'm… I'm not too worried about myself. I just want to make sure Nate's safe, and if I suffer in order to get that for him, then so be it."

"I'm… I'm not too worried about myself. I just want to make sure Nate's safe, and if I suffer in order to get that for him, then so be it."
Lillian sighed, "Nate is safe now. You're safe now. So let me help you get better. Wouldn't that be best for Nate?"
Lloyd hesitated. "I don't know anymore, Lil. I don't know whether I'm safe; there's probably people looking for Nate as well. I don't know what's best for Nate. I don't know what's wrong with me!" Lloyd hid his face in his hands, unsure whether he was upset or frustrated. "I just… I-I don't know what to do. There's a lot of pressure for me to take care of Nate, and it's draining me. I suspect neglecting myself has also probably been ill advised, whether I was trying to look out for Nate or not."
Lillian gently placed a hand on his shoulder. She said confidently and kindly, "Nothing's wrong with you. You were trying to care for your brother and forgot to take care of yourself. Besides you have me and Darren now. We'll help both of you. This is no longer just your burden to carry."
(Sup fuckers)
(What are you doing with my phone?!)
(?????????????????????????)
Lloyd looked up at Lillian gratefully, noticing for the first time that she actually looked rather like what he remembered his mother looking like. He suddenly hugged her tightly, memories of home flooding his mind. His mother, his father, Nate, and then that fateful battle that destroyed any possible future he could have had back home. Tears stung his eyes and he fought against them, but soon they were rolling silently down his cheeks.
(Sup Fuckers……… Why do you have my phone?…………Fuck you that's why……(It's a vine))
(Oh I've never seen that one)
Lillian hugged him back and rubbed his back. Being careful not to touch the wings, "I'm here."
(ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
You really need to stop pushing your responsibilities on these poor people. Especially since you're sorta kinda on the run with Nate. Lloyd ignored his thoughts and tried to thank Lillian, but the words wouldn't come out.
(Oh I had seen that one)
Lillian nodded figuring out what Lloyd was trying to say, "You're welcome. It's no problem."
She's definitely more of a mother than your mother ever was. No wonder Darren refers to her as 'mom'. Lloyd forced himself to calm down and cease his crying. He had to be strong for Nate, after all, no matter how much it slowly shattered him to do so.
Lillian felt her insides crying. She was still mourning the loss of Paige, but was staying strong for Lloyd's sake. She had too. Right?
Lloyd released Lillian, sitting back on the bed and rubbing at his eyes. "I-I'm sorry… I… I really shouldn't keep pushing my responsibilities and problems on you and Darren…"
Lillian sighed, "It's no problem. Really. We're happy to do this Lloyd."
(Darren: I LOVE KIIIIDDDDSSSS)
(Lillian: YESSSSSSSSSSSSS)
(Lloyd: Welp guess I have new parents then)
"You're… a-are you sure?" Lloyd asked quietly, his 'strong' facade faltering again and revealing a worried child.
Lillian smiled and nodded, "Of course. We'll help both of you."
Lloyd smiled weakly. "T-Thank you, it… it really means a lot. I think sometimes I overestimate myself."
Lillian smiled softly, "Don't we all sometimes. That's what friends are for. To help us out."
Lloyd nodded, sighing a bit. "I've been shedding. Is that normal?" He asked, demonstrating how whenever he touched his hair, several strands would just come loose. And if he pulled on any section, it would simply fall out.
Lillian shook her head, "No. Only old people do that. I don't know what's going on."
