She chuckled sadly. "Not much you can do about it. Not much I can do either. Looks like I'm stuck with it." She looked up, her eye pleading for him to save her from the hell she had trapped herself in.

Lillian reached down and grabbed Talia's hand, "Maybe after coffee?"

Talia suddenly looped her arms around Lillian and pulled her into a tight hug. "You… You were like a sister to her, when I couldn't be. Thank you. Thank you."

Lillian was shocked at the sudden hug. She pushed her grief down and hugged Talia back, "It w-was my pleasure."

He sighed and stood up, "I still haven't taken you to Maggiano's, I want to go to the beach before it gets too cold. We really haven't had a first date yet, not really." He offered a hand to help her up as he continued rambling. He needed to get his mind off of Paige, away from sorrow. "It's supposed to rain later and you have no clue how badly I want to kiss you in the rain."

(So as I said earlier, my dad broke down and my mom's working late. But the repair is taking longer than he expected and when my mom gets home if my dad can't convince her to take me and my brother up, we won't leave till tomorrow. I'll let you decide if you being stuck with me for another day is good or bad.)
