She laughed and hugged him. "You're silly." She cuddled into his chest and listened to his heartbeat, too cozy to move.

"Sound like a plan," she whispered to herself and hoped Darren overhead, "Bring vodka."

Darren winked and continued on the piano until there was a knock at the door.

"I love you too." She just wanted to relax with him. How long had it been since they had just had a day to themselves? Flashes of their last date flickered through her head and she smiled. She wanted that afternoon back.

"Fine you lazy idiots I'll get the door," Coop got up. The moment he opened the door a small child ran through straight to Darren, "DDDDDAAAAAARRRRRRRREEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNN!!!!"

Lillian chuckled wide eyed and moved out of the child's way. She wasn't going to get in the way of a child and Darren. Never.

Darren smiled at the little girl, "Heeeyyy Emma!" He picked the kid up with a hug. She was probably no older than 4.

Lillian walked up and rubbed his head, "He did, but it grew back real quick. So it's all there now!"

"Will it?" She whispered, looking dejected and sad.

Emma nodded, "Lillian has to meet my family," She looked at Lillian, she had the same eyes as Darren. Emma took Lillian's hand, "C'mmmmoooonnn,"

"It will… I said I promised and I haven't broken one of those yet,"

She smiled. "Well, there's a first time for everything. But for right now I'm just going to choose to believe you."

Lillian laughed as she allowed herself to be dragged by the small child to her family. She didn't mind, it was going to happen eventually.
