(YES. THAT IS HAPPENING.) "Hmm, how about some Disney? I need some of my childhood in a movie. Not sure which one though."

“What are your favorites?”

"Ooh that's tough. Probably Cinderella, Mulan, and Beauty and The Beast. All three are awesome."

“In order mine are Beauty and the Beast, Aladian and The little mermaid. I’m an 8 year old girl.”

"Aren't we all? So, which one? We only have one in common."

“Beauty and the Beast it is then,” he laughed and went to retrieve the movie.

She clapped excitedly and jumped onto the couch. "Yay!" You are such a fangirl I…will…end…you

He flopped down next to her, “I’m way to excited about this,”

She laid her head on his shoulder and giggled. "Me too."

He kissed the top of her head as the movie began. A smile painted on his face.

She watched intently. It had been too many years since she last saw this movie and she honestly didn't remember much of what happened.

The more he watched, the more he realized how much he could relate to the movie. The only difference is his curse was never ending.

She watched and something struck her as familiar. Then it hit her. She was the exact same as the Belle on screen. She glanced up at him quickly, did he see the similarities too?

He smiled at her, “Who’s our Gaston?” He knew she noticed too.

She chuckled. "Hmm, not sure. Darren? He seems like the closest match."

“Darren is a handsome man that people swoon over… but is he trying to steal you?”

"Less steal more just interrupting."

“I was a prince once. Does that make you my princess?” He laughed.

"Only if you want me to be." She laughed. "But in actuality, I suppose I would be."

He winced, “I need to start giving you more roses,”

She laughed. "Nah, I'm not much of a flower person. Roses are pretty and all but Lord knows I can't garden for shit."

“Belle they’re romantic, and we can’t be Beauty and the Beast without a rose,” he laughed.

She held up the locket around her neck with a smile. "Done and done."

He smiled at his own cliche, “Well isn’t that a happy accident,” he kissed her.

"A happy accident indeed. And this one won't die in a week cause I don't know how to care for roses." She smiled.

“Perfect,” he had stopped paying attention to the movie, his focus accidentally landed on her.
