Brooke made sure Jessie left before turning back to Jacob. She smiled gently as she quietly suggested, "Ditch the party? Or… Continue where we left off?"

He reddened more. "Can we.. continue?"

"Uh-huh." Brooke nodded, leaning close enough to him that their noses were nearly touching.

Jacob moved closer once more, their noses bumping. He kissed her once more, yet warned himself to be careful.

Brooke smiled slightly as she closed her eyes and kissed Jake back again. She would definitely never forget this day.

He melted against her, wrapping his hands against her waist.

Brooke wrapped her arms around Jacob's neck, then moved one of her hands to run her fingers through his hair. Gosh, this was perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

He shivered as her fingers touched his hair, but continued the kiss. I can't believe it. It's too good to be true…

After a while, Brooke pulled back to take a breath. She rested her forehead against Jacob's, her eyes still closed as she breathed somewhat heavily.

"I can't believe this is happening," he breathed.

"Yeah," Brooke agreed in a whisper. "Me neither."

(But I got my username because of the fact I loved the word skit.. So I knew I definitely wanted that in the username. But then I felt it was too short, so I combined it with the word lallation (which means imperfect speech .. The word fits me well) to make Skitlation. Lol… Random info of the day.)

He savored the moment, pecking her nose lovingly.

Brooke scrunched her nose, smiling.

"What should we do now? Go back to the party?"

He sighed, though kept grinning. "I suppose we should. Just brace yourself for Jessie…"

"And everyone else, too," Brooke said, nodding. She stood reluctantly.

Jacob took her hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "Let's go."

Brooke blushed slightly when Jacob took her hand, and she gave him a small smile.

"Yeah, the sooner we get this over with, the better," she declared. They headed back to the house, and Brooke paused a moment to take a breath before entering.

Jake swallowed then stepped inside, expecting the worst.

Jessie was waiting in the kitchen when they walked in, still holding hands. She beamed at them, letting out a little squeal as she raced over and wrapped her arms around the pair. Sam was a bit behind her, shaking his head with an amused smile on his face from his fiancé's actions. He gently pulled her away from Brooke and Jake, giving them both a nod.

"I'm so happy for you guys!!!" Jessie enthused, bouncing on her toes.

Sam laughed. "Babe, give them some room to breathe! I'm sure they don't want to be pestered right now."

Jessie frowned at him slightly before sighing, "Fine."

Jake paused to inhale some air.
"Thanks, Jessie."

"Eh, whatever," Jessie said, waving him off. Her disappointed expression quickly changed as her eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. "I'm just glad my OTP is finally canon."

Brooke groaned and put her head in her hands. "Jessie, stop it, would you?"

Her friend laughed. "Whaaat? It's true!"

"You're a pain sometimes, you know that?"

"And yet, you love me anyway!"

"Yeah, yeah. I suppose I do…" Brooke acquiesced, rolling her eyes.

Sam gently took his fiancé by the arm and pulled her toward himself. "C'mon, Jess. Let's give them a bit of space, now."

"All right, all right!" Jessie laughed, allowing herself to be pulled back into the living room, where the majority of the other guests were gathered, leaving Brooke and Jake alone in the kitchen.

Brooke sighed, glad to finally be free of her friend's non-stop teasing.

Jacob sighed as well. "At least it's out now. And Jessie will always be…. Jessie."
