"Yeah, don't be that person," Talia told Darren. She focused her gaze on the road. "So, anything…" She trailed off, getting completely lost for a second.

Darren smiled, "So anything….?"

Talia blinked and shook her head. "Sorry. So, anything that you'd like to talk about. I hate quiet car rides."

"Uhh, I don't know," He thought, "Where do you work?"

"Oh, I'm a secretary at the library," she responded. "Like, the librarian's apprentice."

"Cool! Do you like it?"

"Yeah, it's cool," Talia replied. She kept an eye out for Starbucks. She wasn't as familiar with this area.

"Take the next right," Darren directed even though his eyes had been closed for the last minute. "What did you do in high school? What were you into?"

Talia arched an eyebrow, but she did as she was told. "As in… Like, cliques?"

“Yeah. As in like cliques.”
