"Not once did I underestimate you, I know what you did to her and I don't know about her but I've been here 5 minutes and I'm already tired of your bullshit," His approach had clearly changed, he was done being nice, "You don't deserve to have a daughter like her," He stepped forward with his hands in fists to hide his claws, "So like I said before, Leave. Her. Alone,"
He laughed. "You really think you can stop me? And if you do, who are you going to tell? I have this whole town under my control. No one will believe you. So I recommend you do as I told you. Back off and let me teach this ungrateful bitch a lesson!" He kicked her in the stomach and she collapsed, wheezing and coughing.
He growled and barked even though he was still in human form. He walked toward her dad, claws no longer hidden, "I could just kill you," He barked.
He smirked. "Could you now? Then why haven't you?" He poked his finger into his cheek. "You're weak. Just like her." She coughed again. "Don't…touch him…you bastard." She wheezed. He turned to her. "You shut up." He kicked her again, this time in the mouth. She lurched forward and spat out blood.
Ryan pinned him against the wall, accidentally cutting his arm with his claws… Not that he was sorry. The smell of blood flooded his nostrils, he tried hard to ignore it, he needed control… the control was fading fast as the veins under his eyes blackened.
His eyebrows shot up. "What's this? I found myself a hybrid? My dumbass of a daughter is dating a hybrid? Seriously? And I thought she was stupid before." He shook his head. Belle laid on the floor, feeling like death itself. Should we? Not now. Just wait.
Resisting the blood this way suddenly became pointless, why was he holding back on this asshat? He hissed, teeth bared as he attacked his neck, teeth sunk in deep.
Okay or not. Hold up, don't relax quite yet. She grinned, feeling victorious. He gasped, trying to speak but only able to make a choking sound.
He pulled his teeth out quickly as the man began to pale, somehow he kept enough control not to go all ripper on this guy, it was probably because it was Belle's father. He pushed her dad as he fell with ease. Ryan looked back at Belle, blood dripping from his mouth, "I'm sorry,"
She coughed. "No no. The bastard deserved it." Her voice was weak, the pain she felt lacing through every word. She wiped the blood from her mouth, sitting up with a bit of difficulty and a major wave of pain.
"I can heal you," He admitted… He had probably never explained this before.
She looked up at him. "Could you? I am literally about to pass out."
"It has risks and I need you to know them right now," He sighed… He hated this.
Her vision was starting to go fuzzy. She was going to black out. "Okay then. Explain."
"Vampire blood heals… The risk being that if you have vampire blood in your system and you die, you will wake back up from said 'dead' state. You will have 24 hours to feed on human blood or you die… The sun will slowly begin to burn you and all you can think about is blood until you complete the transformation with the blood… It hurts," He sighed, "Do you plan on dying in the next 24 hours?"
She laughed, her laughter turning to coughing and wheezing. She cleared her throat. "Honey it feels like I die every day. But actually die? No. I don't."
Ryan nodded and bit his wrist causing blood to pool however the wound healed quickly. He opened her mouth and put his wrist on her lips allowing the pooled blood to drop into her mouth… A pit formed in his stomach… he really hated this, but it healed people instantly.
She tasted iron. His blood was warm. Fresh. She brushed her thoughts away. If she focused on them for too long she'd lose control. She had to stay calm and out of her own head.
He watched as her bruises faded away until they were nonexistent. He nodded and turned to her dad. He walked over and peered down at him.
She took a deep breath. She could breathe again. And now I'm on edge. Oh be quiet. She glanced over at them. Her father was barely breathing. His breaths shallow and fast. "I won't…let you go…that easy." He managed to choke out.
"That's okay sir, I wasn't going to go that easy anyways," He smiled and picked him up single-handedly with a soft smile as he bit his wrist again and healed her father. He looked in his eyes as Ryan's pupils dilated so did her dad's… He was in Ryan trance now… Controlled.
What the hell is he thinking?? No no no! Look… She had a small smile herself. Had she finally won? After all these years, was the torture over? She wasn't completely sure.
Ryan's face was soft and kind as he commanded just as kindly, "This never happened, you never met me, your daughter never came home,"
"Never happened, never came home," Henry said under his breath.
He nodded, "Perfect… Now be quiet and hold still,"
Henry's mouth clamped shut as he his stiffened, unable to move. Ryan looked to Belle… "Anything else you need while I'm compelling him?"
She thought for a second before she snapped her fingers. "Mom never died. She's on a trip. Jasmine died of an illness and I grew up normally. I have moved out for college. There. Just fix my past so he won't want to come and murder me."
"What's your mom's name?"
"Trina." Her smile turned sad. She had loved her mother dearly and just thinking about her made her miss her.
Ryan nodded, "Trina's on vacation. You're daughter, Jasmine died of a tragic illness, but your other daughter went off to college…" He sighed and added something that was more for him than Belle, "You love Belle and can't wait to see her again,"
Ryan dropped him on the floor as Henry began saying things under his breath…
"It'll take second for him to process but in the meantime we should go,"
She nodded, nearly flying down the stairs and out the door. She heaved a few deep breaths. She had made it. Barely, but she made it.
"Careful, if you fall down the stairs you'll be a vampire and trust me it's not as fun as Twilight makes it look," Ryan's words were dry and very unlike his usual joy and kindness.
She finally caught her breath and glanced up at him. "Are you okay? You seem a little…off."
