Lillian glared as she stepped back. She hissed, “Well it’s too late now. So just fucking go already.”
Lillian glared as she stepped back. She hissed, “Well it’s too late now. So just fucking go already.”
"That makes sense," He took another sip, "I really don't have many questions,"
(Hell yeah she does. Sorry Camie.)
(You're good!) Jana didn't move. Her feet were rooted in fear.
"Wow okay then. Not the reaction I expected. Um, I don't even know what to ask." She glanced down, squeezing her hands and looking nervous.
Lillian scowled before yelling, “I SAID LEAVE! IF YOU REALLY CARED YOU WOULDN’T HAVE NEEDED TO APOLOGIZE IN THE FIRST PLACE!”
"I'm sorry," He didn't mean to hurt her, "I wasn't there, not really, at least not for all of it," He placed his hand over hers and put the bottle down.
Darren put a hand on Lillian's shoulder, "Lillian,"
Lillian scowled before yelling, “I SAID LEAVE! IF YOU REALLY CARED YOU WOULDN’T HAVE NEEDED TO APOLOGIZE IN THE FIRST PLACE!”
Jana ran, fighting off tears. She felt awful. She let a loud sob escape before turning the corner.
Darren shimmered in behind Jana, "WAIT!" He yelled.
Lillian pushed him away as she wrapped her arms around herself, “Don’t touch me.”
She appreciated the touch, but that wasn't what was bothering her. "No, that's not the problem. Sure, it was unexpected but that's fine. What I'm so scared about is what happens next? How long until this pure bloodlust is gone? Is it just something I have to be wary of forever? Do I have to permanently have to be scared that my own boyfriend could kill me in my sleep?"
He frowned, "No, it goes away. And you don't need to worry," He moved her head and kissed her, "They're already fading,"
Darren shimmered in behind Jana, "WAIT!" He yelled.
Jana slowed, only to a walk, and wiped fiercely at her tears. "What?" she snapped.
(It's a side effect of the rebreaking and mostly the Wolfsbane)
"You deserve to say goodbye, Lillian's just upset,"
She smiled. "Well, that's a relief to hear." She leaned back, running her fingers through her hair, a tic she had picked up from the asylum.
"Please don't be scared of me, Belle,"
"You deserve to say goodbye, Lillian's just upset,"
"No, she's right. I was an awful friend." Jana didn't stop.
He shimmered in front of her, he didn't care… "Yes, you were. But a friend nonetheless, you cared or you wouldn't have come here to say sorry,"
She looked over. "I'm trying not to. Trust me, I don't want to be. But after all I've been through I don't really have much of a say in the matter. I'm choosing to ignore it, to trust you won't hurt me but how long until it wears off? The bloodlust, that is. It'll make me feel better."
Jana's jaw dropped, but she pushed around him and kept going. "I screwed everything up. I never deserved Paige."
"Usually not long," He stood up, "I can go until it's done if that'll help you," He was upset.
Lillian watched as he left. She marched off to the bathrooms figuring that was pretty safe. She locked the door behind her as she against the stall playing with her knife. Paige was gone. She was gone. It was Lillian’s fault.
Jana's jaw dropped, but she pushed around him and kept going. "I screwed everything up. I never deserved Paige."
Darren was the one who always wanted to help, people in pain, that was his weakness, he typically felt like he needed to help… Now he just wanted to give up and go back to Lillian, so he did. "I'm sorry," He said to Lillian like he had never left as a response to her 'don't touch me'.
"No no no, that'll just make me worried. Just stay. Watching it fade with my own eyes is much better for my sanity." She grabbed his hand, her eye pleading for him to stay with her.
He took the knife, "I promised,"
"No no no, that'll just make me worried. Just stay. Watching it fade with my own eyes is much better for my sanity." She grabbed his hand, her eye pleading for him to stay with her.
He sat down, "It's not good for my sanity to see you start to hate me,"
Lillian scowled. She was to tired to fight him, “Fine whatever.”
"I don't hate you. Never have, never will. Please, just trust me on this, I don't hate you." She smiled gently.
A wailing scream filled the hospital halls. "Nooooo!"
