The weight in air seemed to become heavier in an instant as Artemis stared out her window across the street. Something was happening at Darrenâs house and from what she could sense it wasnât good.
She burst out of her house and barged into Darrenâs house to find herself seeing something quite unexpected.

She was fuming. She walked over, smiled sweetly, then stabbed him in the throat with her angel blade. "There. Threatening enough for you?" She watched his skin and vocal chords bubble and burn away, leaving him unable to speak.
