(I was gonna be one of the other football guys and talk to Darren but I was waiting until he was done being busy)

She gently placed her hands on his shoulders. "Don't you though?" She laid her head on his chest, closed her eye, and smiled. She just swayed with him, listening to his heartbeat. D'awwwww! He might be a murderer and using us but this is precious! Well this is just too cute to process.

Ryan didn't say anything back he just held her close and continued dancing. He kissed the top of her head.

(A while. Signed up for an online course over the summer. I have stuff due, that I kind of forgot about…….)

Lillian smiled back and she felt herself moving to the music.

The song ended and people clapped only to be quieted by Darren who was looking extremely nervous. "Umm- okay, so I wasn't going to embarrass myself like this but in the last week I decided I had to." He looked at Lillian with a scared smile, "I always say that we're a team, and that's true. You are there for me and I am there for you, everything we do is together as one unit. So this is about being there for each other and that before I met you I was lost," he was almost shaking he was so nervous.
