"Fine, I won't worry about it." She said.

Artemis patted Raven on the back,”You gonna back inside, I’ll be in after I grab something from my car.”

"Okay." She said, as she started walking back inside.

She rolled her eyes with a smile. "Wow. Congrats. But I'm offended, you didn't even ask about my love life. Different town, different people, I'm shocked you didn't ask earlier."

He shook his head, "Let me guess, you have a big brave boyfriend who would beat the shit out of me if I got too close?"

She burst out laughing. "Are you kidding? That's what you think I'm into? Jesus I need to fix your thinking. Nah, I've got someone but he's a softy. Nerdy and cute, just the way I like. I doubt he'd even lift a finger." She wiped away tears of laughter.

He rolled his eyes, "Does this nerdy, cute little boy have a name?"

"Ryan. Ryan Lerman. And don't roll your eyes at me you know I hate that." Aaand we're back. Right into the old habits, I see. Oh shut up. It'll be easier for him to trust us if we act like we never changed.

"Ryan Lerman, like Darren's best friend? Are you kidding me?" He laughed.

She laughed. "That's the one! And no I'm not! Don't ask me what he saw in me cause I don't know!"

Artemis can’t believe she forgot about the Exorcist Mark Noah had given her before she moved. He gave it to her to help with spiritual pressure the only downfall was as soon as Artemis activates it Belle, Darren and the others would know she knew there secrets. Not to mention the newcomer would able to tell right away as well.

Taking a deep breath Artemis dig through her glove department before it gripped a small box, inside was a sword shaped necklace. And the moment she took it out they would know.

"No you're just not his type that's all," He stopped laughing but was still smiling gleefully.

She smiled, somehow it was easier. Nope nope nopity nope. Lily do something! I'm trying! The flashbacks reappeared and the smile went fake. There. Much better. "You know, you're the second person to say that and I still don't know what y'all mean by type."

“Well here goes nothing,” Artemis said as she took the necklace out and slid it over her head. She felt the swird in the necklace send out a single pulse. It was done Belle and the others would know she was full aware of the powers they had.

(Maybe when she comes back inside Cooper and Belle will corner her or something)

Cooper laughed harder, "Oh my god you're serious too that's the best part,"

She shoved him with her smile still plastered on her face. "Shut up! Just tell me, what the hell do you mean by type that's all I'm asking!"

Cooper was about to tell Belle what Darren had been too kind to stick his nose in, "Last time I checked, Ryan was gay," He was laughing harder now, "Unless something changed…"

Immediately the air pressure became lighter and Artemis let out a breath of relief as she went back inside.

She laughed. "Unless…wow you learn something new every day. The fact that I'm not even surprised is funny." She giggled. There's another piece to the puzzle. He's using us. But for what? Maybe it's not for us to give him something, maybe it's to keep us out of the way. The gears were turning.

Belle seemed to be in a conversation with the newcomer. Artemis could have sworn his eyes flicked to her for a second before returning to Belle. Ignoring it Artemis found Raven sitting at a table.

Just then Ryan walked through the doors, "Well that's your man I guess you two have some talking to do," Cooper smiled and backed away.
"Hey," Ryan smiled and pecked Belle on the lips, "Was that Darren's brother?"

She smiled. This guy…He's lucky he's cute. Very lucky. "Yeah, it was. And he told me something interesting. I'm not completely sure I believe it though."

"What's that," Ryan was smiling.

Lillian smiled, "You'll see."

"You made me wait to find out about the party, you owe me," Darren smiled.

Lillian sighed, "Fine. I was going to pick Next To Me."

She giggled, trying to keep the air light. "He told me that the last time he checked, you were gay. I know it probably isn't true but I can't help but wonder."
