(Lol… Darren doesn't know…)

"Perfect," he smiled, "Let's go then! What movie do you want?"

"It doesn't matter. I invaded your house tonight, you pick. Just not horror or mystery. I'll be up all night trying to figure out who did it," Paige joked. Actually, she'd fall asleep just as the detective would figure it out and she'd never find out the answer.

Darren laughed, "How about a cheesy classic like 'Singing in The Rain'?"

"Never seen it," Paige replied, "but sure!"

"Oof! Never seen it?!" He sighed, "It's one of the most well-known musicals like ever!" He laughed, "It's cheesy and will you put you right to sleep." He began to walk up the stairs to his room.

"Alright-" she paused to yawn "y then." She followed him to his room.

Darren put the movie in and flopped down on his bed, as he smiled up at Paige.

"Um, so where should I sleep?" Paige asked, surveying the room.

Darren laughed, a little confused, "Where ever you want I guess. Whatever makes you feel safe."

She eyed Darren, but then she quickly looked away. "Um… it wouldn't be awkward if I…"

"Not really, if that makes you feel safe, it wouldn't really be that weird," He smiled.

"Are you sure?" Paige asked, taking off her sneakers.

"Positive," He smiled kindly and moved the blanket for her.

Paige smiled back shyly and slipped in. She scooted close to Darren, and immediately a sense of security and calm washed over her, making her skin prickle.

Darren was tired too, he was mid-nap when Paige had come. He put a protective arm around her as the movie began.

Paige watched the movie through hazy eyes. She could feel Darren's arm around her and she smiled. Lillian is lucky to have him, she thought, happy for her best friend. Paige remembered the fear that she felt on the sidewalk when Lillian had approached. Paige could feel her bruises singing. She eased slightly closer to Darren.

“Are you okay?” He wanted to make sure.

"Yeah, just… trying to tune certain things out, ya know?" She smiled, half forced.

He nodded, “I understand that,” he smiled back and held her a little closer for support.

Paige smiled into Darren's chest and the world began to grow dim. She faintly heard the movie but sleep was winning this battle.

Darren’s eyes closed and his breathing slowed and evened out. He drifted asleep quickly.

Paige closed her eyes completely and focused on Darren's breath. Within a couple minutes, she was fast asleep.

Personality: awkward but nice once you get to know her. She is not afraid to show her smarts. Horrible in P.E.
Backround: mother died and left Lily depressed for most of her life she was just getting over it when high School happened.
