Cicada tossed and turned before groaning from her inability to fall asleep. She swung her legs over the bed and walked out the door in her normal clothes.

Dalton wasn't asleep and he knew it would be a bad idea but he got up to go follow Cicada.

Cicada spotted a girl talking to another girl. She had the urge for some mischief, so she snuck up behind one of the girls. She lit her hand on fire and danced some of the fire in front of their eyes.

Alex yelped and alarm and accidently inflocted her purser with her magic. It took her a minye to realize what she had done. "Omg I am so sorry." She panicked over the girl.

Dalton snickered watching Cicada mess with people. The laugh echoed and he hid. He was a little afraid Cicada would think he was stalking her.

Cicada's fire went out and she took a step back. What was happening? This wasn't where she was, this was… home. Those were… her parents. Fire started radiating off of her body. She fell to her knees as the flames grew higher her parents burned away in front of her. She bit her cheeks, her lip to stop herself from screaming out. What was going on?! This happened years ago! Why wouldn't it go away?!?!

Dalton ran to her, "What the hell is happening to her?"

Alex tried to stop her magic….but nothing worked. "You have to snap out of it." She yelled as the girl fell on her knees.

Cicada could hear voices from beyond the fire. She looked up her eyes tear filled and glassy.

Darren looked Cicada in the eyes, his pupils dilated suggesting his magic was working, "Snap out of it," He said in a demanding voice. He planned to just compel her out of it.

"No we have to wait it out." She said sorrowfully. "I am so sorry." She sobbed.

"Why won't my compulsion work?"

Cicada felt the visions fade away, it was nothing more than faded outlines now. But the fire was bright as ever. She said weakly, "H-help. I-I can't."

Dalton helped her up, "It's okay, You're okay."

Sleep. Her voice whispered into the girls mind. "The least we can do is let her rest." She said in a croaked voice.

'I'll take her back to her room," He said picking her up.

Cicada was unsteadily on her feet. The fire still burned, however Dalton seemed clear in her vision. That was until her eyes started closing and the fire disappeared completely and she fell towards him unconscious.

"I…..Im sorry." Her voice croaked and tears started to run down her cheek. She turned away and ran away. I am a monster.

Tristan sat on his bed still, sitting up perfectly straight. I should go apologize. I was rude to that girl. But…what if I run into someone else? He sighed, finally deciding to leave the room once more.

Harley looked around and didn’t know what to do.

Cicada began snoring softly.
