Thomas looked around the classroom, observing each person. Blatantly ignoring the teacher who's voice was so high pitched that he cringed at the migraine that was sure to come.

That's awesome @Katyanna HJ, Moon Child eh? Interesting choice.
Bennett watched as the teacher walked in. He was ready to start class anyway.
Ahaha, thank you, yours too, abstract neutrality god, very interesting indeed.
Strangely enough, the newer kids were extremely diverse, one was obviously a centaur, the rest were unknown, Bennett knew he could sense their lineage and origins if he wanted to, but using his powers wasn't what he was here to do.
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Emily watched as Mr Galthers settled into his seat at the front of the classroom. Despite coming across as friendly for the first couple of minutes she had known him, Mr Galthers stared at each of his students with a scrutinizing gaze before speaking, "I will not tolerate ANY misbehaviour in my classroom so do not think that just because I am a Leprechaun it is your lucky day. Open your textbooks to page 5 and complete the work until you reach page 29. Any work you did not complete in class will be for homework." And with that the class immediately took out their textbooks, not wanting to have any homework on the first day.
Noticing the page numbers written on the board, Thomas took out his textbook and started reading about the history of magic, and the grand battles of the early ages between races.
"History first thing in the day, well aren't I just the luckiest guy" He thought sarcastically
(Mind if I join?)
Irene walked into class, noticeably late. She handed the teacher her note an plopped into a seat in the back.
Name: Arabelle Lockhart (Goes be Arie or Belle)
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Sexuality: Straight
Species/creature: Cupid
Looks: Medium-height; fair skin; shoulder-length, pastel pink hair with a very bright pink streak; violet eyes; dazzling smile; has white wings that she can extend from or retract into her back, but usually keeps them hidden.
Personality: Shy with strangers, outgoing with her friends; kind; insecure about her abilities; could rival the original Cupid in her marksmanship with a bow and arrow; quiet
Wears: White, strapless, knee-length dress; white tights; pink ballet flats with a matching shawl.
Other: Most people are concerned that she'll make them fall in love with her or with another being who they don't like, but she would never do something like that. She has very few friends because of her power. She doesn't like to be the center of attention, and would usually rather observe people than be a part of a conversation.
Arie slowly opened the classroom door, peeking her head in. All eyes turned to her as she stepped inside.
Oh, no. Not again, she thought. This was her first day at a new school, and, just like at her last school, she was late.
"Sorry, sorry!" she blurted to the teacher as she made her way over to the last empty seat.
Irene looked to her left, watching the panicked girl sit, "relax,' she said, "nobody in this hell hole cares if you're late."
Looking to her right, Arie saw a tall blonde eying her. Woah. An angel goes to this school? Cool, she thought, turning her attention back to the front of the room, where the teacher was writing on the board.
Irene sighed and pulled her phone out.
Arie opened her book to the page the teacher instructed and got to work. She finished about 10 minutes later and waited for the rest of the class to finish.
Bennett was starting to get a bit bored, he took out his phone.
Brooke was not paying attention to the class, an was instead drawing some of the people around her. She just started drawing the girl with the purple eyes and wings.
Irene groaned, watching the clock tick slowly. All she wanted was out of this class. Out of this school.
"Jesus, this is boring." Bennett says.
Irene looked at Bennett, "yeah no shit Sherlock."
He chuckled. "Not just this class, the whole day." He put his phone away.
Thomas chuckled lightly at the bored state everybody was in, he figured he could do something to entertain them.
With a flick of his hand and half a thought, he made any light (within the classroom) turn off, now they sat in pitch darkness.
He watched the chaos ensue.
Bennett looked back at the Wingboi through the darkness.
Name: Shade
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Species/creature: Shadow-folk
Looks: Pale, dark hair, thin, scary
Personality: Sly, cunning
Wears: Leather clothes, wears either a grey beanie or a black fedora
Powers: Can turn into smoke and invisible (ethereal), can teleport through shadows, telepathy and telekinesis.
Equipment: Twin handguns with demon iron bullets, twin sabers made of demon iron. A dark-amulet…
(Awesome.)
Brooke watches all the light go out, and people panic. She stays sitting, knowing if things get out of hand she could just leave unnoticed.
"What just happened?" shouted Arie after the lights went out.
"I guess it's an outage." Says Bennett.
"But there wasn't a storm or anything to cause it," mentioned Arie, curious about the reason.
"Yeah, I don't think so either."
"So… What's your name?" Arie asked the voice she was talking to, while hoping that is was actually attached to a real person. Gosh, wouldn't that be just my luck? Talking to myself on my first day at a new school, she thought.
