Kat listened to what the girl, Olivia, had to say before she pulled her suitcases up the stairs and chose the room that had a balcony and had a beautiful lake view.

Lexi picked a nice big room at the end of the hall of the third floor. The wall facing the lake and the backyard was made almost completely up of glass, with the wall of the opposite side being covered in bookshelves. Her bed was in between the two walls, with a desk on the opposite wall from the bed. On the right of the desk was the door to the bathroom, and the door to a walk in closet on the left. There was even the tools she would need to make music videos. Sweet. Overall, the room was really bright and perfect for Lexi. She sighed and dropped on her bed.

Fiona hopped over the couch and pulled the door open. “Hey! I’m Fiona, nice to meet you. What’s your name?”

Olivia put the food in a tray and covered it with foil then put it in the oven. Shoving all dishes in the dishwasher, she went to go take a shower and change. She came back wearing her marvel shirt, black skinny jeans, a red beanie and a pair of green and black socks. “I wan to get a cat.” She said randomly.

Lexi popped her head into the kitchen as she was walking past. "I have a cat! I was about to go pick her up from the animal shelter that I left her at." She told Olivia.

“Oh my god what’s her name! Can I co own her?” She rambled

"Her name is Muffin! And yeah, I guess you can co-own her if you want." Lexi said as she held back a laugh. "I also have a puppy, if that's okay with you. His name is Mocha and he's a Bernese Mountain dog."

Kat sat down on the couch downstairs absolutely bored.

(I gtg for a bit to make supper w/ my mom, brb)
Lexi passed through the living room and saw a girl sitting on the couch. "Hey! You bored?"

Startled, Kat looked up at the new voice. " Y-yeah, who are You?" She asked.

Olivia looked up as Kay came downstairs. She smiled at her and laid back down on the couch watching her cartoons.

"I'm Lexi. And you?" Lexi asked.

"Kat." She introduced herself.

"That's a pretty name." Lexi complimented. "Hey, if you're bored, I'm on my way to pick up my cat and puppy from the animal shelter two or three blocks down, wanna come with me?"

Olivia heard Lexi talking about her pets and perked up “Hey if you don’t want me to intrude moms if I join? I won’t if you really don’t want me to.” She asked

Kat nodded. "That sounds cool, yeah I'll come." She exclaimed and got up.

Lexi shook her head. "The more the merrier Liv. Is it okay if I call you that?"

“Call me whatever but not something mean! “ she exclaimed

Lexi laughed. "I wouldn't dream of it. Shall we?" She said as she started for the door.

Kat shrugged and followed.

“Sure give me a second!” She went and grabbed her purse and shoved her wallet in there. “There’s an amazing candy store near the shelter and I need to stock up haha” she laughed

Lexi smiled as she stepped out of the house, opening the door for the other two.

Kat thanked Lexi and walked out. I don't want to be here. She thought grudgingly to herself.

Lexi practically skipped down the sidewalk.
