"Nice. But," Gaia paused. "What type of place is Crossakiel? Another planet, trading post, kingdom…?" She listed off different things.

"Right now it's just colonies of traders and the like. At least, that's what it was like when I was there last. They're all Irish on there."

"Top of the morning to ya!" Gaia laughed.

Ellis chuckled. "Exactly."

"Oi! I know what i want to eat now! Potat-oes!" Gaia said encaustically. "I'll be like Sahsa, potatoes all day, every day!"

"DID SOMEONE SAY A FOOKIN POTATO!?!?!?" conner asked making his voice sound as Irish as posible.

"Guys. Language. Ellen is like…eight…"

"YEO IS SAUD FORKIN POATAOE!" Gaia yelled back.

"Oh god." Mariko banged her head on her desk. "Make it stop. I can hear you."

"Guys you're bothering our only mechanic shut up."

(I'd have Ellen come down the hall, but she's with Seth.)
Ellen rolled her eyes as she heard Gaia and Connor shouting about potatoes. "Weirdos…"

"Thank you, Elli-Captain." She grabbed the blanket hanging over her chair and wrapped it around herself.

"No problem Mari." He switched on autopilot and leaned back in the chair.

Gaia sighed. "I really wanna potato."

Mari yawned and snuggled into the blanket even more, encased in with fuzzy warmth of her blanket cocoon. "How much longer?"

"15 minutes, dear." Crap…

Gaia looked at him like this: o.o
"Ship." she whispered

Her stomach fluttered and her cheeks burned. Dear? Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap. Mariko's voice was barely a whisper, "O-okay. Sounds good."

Ellis flushed. "Uh…..Where's Seth and Ellen?"

"ship" gaia whispered again still looking like o.o

"No idea." Dear. Mari groaned, her face flushed red. Why did he have to do that? Now whenever she heard his voice, she'd immediately think of saying 'dear' back.

conner chuckled when he heard gaia yell potato "quick question Ellis: on a scale of 1 to dear god don't, how would you react if i did that voice while we were there."

"Lordy, Conner, I'll slice your head off if you do."

Okay. It's all good. He probably didn't mean it. Just a slip of the tongue. He doesn't love me, I don't love him. He's just confused. He can't possibly mean it. Her brain was working overtime, trying to come up with reasons why Ellis would say that other then the reason she'd been trying to avoid. Love. "You'd offend the locals, Conner. Not a good idea."

"Ireland means Anger land for a reason my dude." Ellis chuckled.

"I've never heard that before." Gaia brought her hand to her chin. "U sure bout dat?"

She settled back into her blanket, wishing that her grandfather was here. Jiji made the best ramen.

"Yep. A friend of mine from a long time ago told me. He's from there."

conner chuckled again "i'll try my best, but i might also get drunk…."
