Seth nodded, a soft smile gracing her features. "Yeah, of course." Dang, she was becoming fond of this little gal.

@Crisis

Seth's brow furrowed. "I'm sure there's some kind out there that can dwell in dreams, I'm not sure about the ones we faced." she looked at Ellen, more than slightly concerned. "Why?" she asked.

Ellen stared at the ground. "I had a dream a few minutes ago, when I passed out." She drew a shuddering breath. "It was one I had before, but the demon showed up, and started talking to me."

@Crisis

Seth's face became relaxed, almost unnaturally, with no trace of emotion. "It could just be trauma, and if not I sure hope it's not a demon living in your dreams. Many people who experience traumatic events—" she glanced at Ellen and her face returned to normal, and she cut herself short. "We should probably talk to Ellis, just to make sure the demon isn't literally inside your dreams. I don't know if that's possible, but I really hope not. What exactly did it say to you?"

@Lavy-the-Nerdy-Sci-Fi-Birdy

Ellen looked Seth in the eyes. She felt she trusted Seth enough to tell her. "Well… it was actually a nightmare. One about when my mom died. The dream was getting to the part where mom and I get separated and-" Ellen drew a shaky breath. "It enveloped us in a cloud of mist. I told it it couldn't hurt me. Then mom screamed from somewhere in the mist, and I told the demon this was a dream, it wasn't real, it couldn't hurt me, or mom. Then it cackled and said don't be so sure."

@Crisis

Seth pulled Ellen into a hug. "I'm sure… at least 87.5% sure it was just a dream, but we'll check with Ellis when he gets back to make sure that it is gone for good. And I—we— won't let that demon hurt you, in a dream or while your awake."

@Crisis

Seth pulled away from Ellen. "I've had dreams like that too. It always feels real, but you can't let that get to your head. The past is done, and if we let that back into our minds it consumes us and we can't get back to the present."
