She felt so useless, sitting there, on the bed, next to a bleeding Ellis. Why didn't I become a doctor instead of a mechanic? Mariko patted Ellis' shoulder awkwardly, feeling as if she should say something.

Ellis grabbed Mariko's hand. "I need to hold onto something real here."

The demon hissed and dove towards Gaia. "I WILL!"

She ripped open the salt packet she had in her hand and threw it at the demon.
"Power of Friendship, effer!"

She blushed, lips moving, but not making a sound. Her heart started beating rapidly and she let her hand go limp in Ellis' hand, making sure that it wasn't just her that was holding on.
"Real? The bed's pretty real. I think."

Ellen lay on the ground breath coming in ragged gasps. She could feel herself slipping. No no no. Don't do that…

The demon shrieked. "I'M WASTING MY TIME WITH YOU!" She twisted down the hall and towards the bedroom.

"Ellen. It's okay." Gaia murmured. "Get some rest. Sleep, it's okay. I have salt for dayz." She sprinted off to the kitchen, pillaging the cupboards. She found a large jar of salt and sprinted to Ellis' room.
"SALT!" She screamed.

Seth grinned and winked at Mariko. "Well, I'm going to go get the med kit." she rushed out of the room, hurrying to find the med kit.

Ellen drifted off before she could respond.
She was so exhausted.

A wink? What was that supposed to mean? Her bangs were starting to dry, hanging in front of her eyes and blocking her vision. Mari ran her fingers over Ellis' wound, getting them wet with blood. Does it hurt much?
