(I forgot that umbra kinesis was called that. I just called it shadow forming, cause that's how Dylan would describe it… thanks for the reminder.)

"Ok, Dylan. What's your power?" Aspect questioned. "I mean, you totally just appeared there, so I'm assuming you have one."
"Invisibility, and Shadow–uh…I mean Umbra-Kinesis. I haven't quite nailed that down."
To demonstrate, he created a spike from the ground made of pure darkness between him and Element.
"Woah," breathed Aspect, her eyes wide. "Ok, yours is cool, but mine is totally cooler." She stood, looked around to make sure that nobody was watching, and grinned. "Watch this."
Her ears suddenly stretched and grew gleaming, silver fur. A fluffy tail sprouted from her behind just as her face lengthened and grew fur. The rest of her body underwent a total transformation, and by the time it was over she was completely transformed into a giant, silver-furred wolf.
And suddenly, another spike grew from the ground. Not too big, but just enough to collide with his.
"Seems like I'm not the only umbra-kinetic around here" She smirked.
( whatever who cares for Lenny thats complicated just call me Element XD )
Element stepped foward. "Need I remind you," her British accent dripped with annoyance. "We're in the open."
"But," she continued. "We shouldn't be fighting over powers anyways. And WHAT was that noise?"
Aspect's golden wolf eyes widened, and she turned back into a human. "I-I don't know… I kinda forgot about it…"
Element sighed. "Come on." she said, and shoved all of them gently forward with wind. Once they caught on that she was going to find the maker of the noise, she let go and they all walked normally.
"Dude, I didn't know you could do that!" Aspect gaped at Element as they walked side-by-side down the hallway towards the café. "That is so cool!"
Dylan felt excitement in his own step. He had just arrived, and things were already proving to be interesting!
Element smiled, feeling important. "Elemental powers." she beamed. "It's in my name."
Aspect turned around to face the other two supers behind them. "So, Dylan, how's the school so far?" she asked, smirking.
(Sorry, guys, I've got to go for today. I'll be back tomorrow, though!)
Element bumped her. "Turn around and speak, we're approaching."
( yeah I gotta go too! )
"School has been school," Dylan said, sighing, "Boring, easy, and way too serious. They don't have a sense of humor here." His face lit up slightly as a thought crossed his mind, "Well, except for programming. That's actually been very fun."
He turned his head to Cass, "Have you ever tried to create a shadow-form that can do something autonomously? It actually comes in very handy."
"Guys save this for later… Look." They were outside now, and a huge rock was indented in the grass. "How have people not realized this was here?" Element breathed.
Dylan laughed, "Maybe that's cause it wasn't there till a minute ago, Darlin'."
The rock, pushed into the grass as it was, still towered over Dylan. Walking up to it, he laid his hand on the surface. It was surprisingly cool to the touch.
"Dylan! Don't touch it!" Aspect yelled. "Who knows what it could do to you? We don't even know what it is!"
Suddenly, the rock started glowing bright orange, getting brighter by the second. After about five seconds, it was so bright that the group had to shield their eyes from it.
"What the heck IS that thing?" questioned element. Heat began radiating from the object, searing her skin. She yelped and out of no where came a huge wave that crashed over it. The brightness dimmed, and the heat stopped. Element dropped to her knees, she felt like she was on fire.
"Element!" shouted Aspect. She looked around at the others, who were staring in shock. "Go get help or something! Call the League of Heroes!" (Btw, I just made that up. Feel free to go along with it and make something up.)
Dylan felt strangely unhurt from the light, but when he tried to back away, he found he was stuck, as if some barrier had closed around him, leaving him room only to breath. He closed his eyes against the light, and hoped the girls outside had a plan.
Aspect noticed that nobody was doing anything. They must be in shock, she thought. I have to stay with them, to make sure that nothing else happens, but I can't just wait for help to show up… What do I do? What do I do?
Element jumped up, pain shooting through her. "Somethings wrong" she moaned. "We have to leave now!"
"Dylan, Cassandra, let's go!" shouted Aspect, also standing.
"Sorry, I can't quite move right now!" Dylan yelled, trying to remove his arm from the stone. His invisibility wouldn't be much help, and he couldn't use umbra-kinesis. He couldn't move at all, come to think of it. He was breathing, but that was about it.
He winced as he felt a hot spike of pain shoot up his arm.
"Ow! For Fox sake, that hurt!"
"What? Oh, man. This is not good," Aspect said to herself nervously. She turned to Element and quickly asked, "Would you please go contact the League?"
