Lavender bit back a sharp retort as an all-too familiar wave of nausea swept through her. Rummaging around in her satchel for her meds, her hand bumped against a small lump encased in a small pouch. Eyes widening, her hand flew to her mouth. “S***.”, she swore, pulling pack the black fabric of the pouch just enough to reveal the smooth, creamy surface of a tiny dinosaur egg.
