Darren sighed and took her hand, "Really I'm fine," He said kissing her cheek.

Lillian smiled, “I just want to be careful okay? We don’t need any more injuries today.”

“My head is probably just over sensitive from the whole tumor thing. I’ll be okay”

Lillian wrapped her arms around him, "Okay. Don't push yourself."

Darren nodded, "Do you think they'll let me skip chemo today? I really don't wanna."

Lillian laughed quietly, "You shouldn't skip. It's to help you."

"They should find a more productive way to help me,"

Lillian sighed, "It's what we have available with today's technology. So please just go."

Darren sighed, "Fine, are you still coming with me?"

Lillian nodded, "Of course."

"So until then, what shall we do with this fine day presented to us m'lady?"

Lillian smirked, "I have a few ideas."

"Do you now?" Darren smiled.

Lillian looked up to him, "I do."

"Really," Darren's smile grew, "Like what?"

Lillian leaned up and kissed him, "Like that. After you beat me."

"Beat you," Darren laughed, "At what?"

"Do you have Mario Kart?" Lillian smiled.

"Of course I ha- You want to play Mario Kart?"

Lillian's face heated up and she looked away, "Maybe."

Darren moved her face with his hand and kissed her, "I call dibs on Bowser,"

Lillian smiled and said, "Then I'm Rosalina."

"Deal," He said running into the living room. When the system booted up Darren yelled, 'Mario Kart Wii!' just like the character did laughing the whole time, "It's been forever since I've played this."

Lillian ran after him laughing, "Same. Last time I played this was when I was a kid."

"Me too!" He said excitedly as he picked characters and started a race. "I'm gonna beat you!"
