"Yeah, I'm just staying here for the time being. He's the actual guy you wanna talk to." Belle turned to walk away when she saw the girl again. "Hey." She whispered. The girl, Artemis, looked up. "Follow me." The girl walked into the house whilst Darren and her parents kept talking. She led her into the kitchen. "Sorry about that, you just looked so uncomfortable I had to help out." She grabbed a Coke out of the fridge and took a sip. "You want one?"

Artemis just nodded her head and muttered a small thanks. This girl seemed cool and someone she would want to be friends with even though her actions kept reminding Artemis of her sister.

Ryan saw Belle and a new girl and decided to get up. He walked over to them, "Hello," he smiled to Artemis, "I'm Ryan,"

"So, how old are you? I mean, you look a bit old to be dragged around by your parents like a fucking doll. Seriously I thought people stopped that as kids. I guess a child is just a living doll though." She shrugged and drank her Coke.

"I am 17 and I really don't mind, they have my best interests at heart especially after…," Artemis stopped talking and just took a sip of coke.

"What about you guy's? How old are you?," she asked.

"Me? I'm 17. And I get the feeling." Artemis looked confused. "I lost my sister too. First my mom, then her." She shook her head, feeling the tears coming. "Dad was fine for a while after Mom died but then, he snapped. Drove my sister to suicide. And there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her and what I could have done to save her." She sighed heavily and took another drink.

"He's 17," Ryan responded opening the liquor cabinet. "Who the hell drank all the alcohol?"

"How'd you know I had a sister?," Artemis asked suddenly surprised by the girl's monologue," And that's awful, is it why your staying here?"It takes Artemis a while to open up to new people so Belle just opening up about everything caught her off guard as she struggled to reply.

Belle's face flushed. "Well I can tell you that it definitely wasn't me, Darren, and Lillian last night. That's for certain." She smiled innocently.

She chuckled. "It's pretty obvious. Your parents treat you like a precious doll, so they must have lost another child and are scared of losing you. You stopped before you finished your sentence. Girls aren't usually close to brothers so sister it is. You lost your sister, your parents are scared of losing you, they drag you here, and here we are. Boom." She smirked. "As you can see, I watch to much Sherlock for my own good. As for your second question, yes and no. I lost my sister when I was 13. Dad went a bit crazy in the last 4 years. And by a little, I mean a lot. I ran away from home and found Darren last night. He took me in and now I'm staying here whilst I figure out what to do about my dad who is still roaming the streets looking for me so he can have my head."

"Yeah I can see how you could tell and I would hope it seemed like I was close to my sister we were twins after all, " Artemis said looking down at her coke feeling a bit uncomfortable. She could tell belle was probably a huge nerd so decided to change the subject by asking if Belle likes Stranger Things or Merlin.

She laughed. "I've never actually seen either of those shows. I've been meaning to watch Stranger Things but since I'm still on my Supernatural marathon I haven't had the chance. What about you? What are your favorite shows?"

"I do love Sherlock but Stranger Things is my favorite," Artemis says,"If you want maybe you can come over sometime and we can watch it together?'
