"No," Kelly said, her eyes flickering nervously between both of the thieves.
Duke lunged forward and snatched her bag. "Let me just take a looksee in here."
Kelly pulled her bag close to her and stepped away. She made a mistake of not keeping an eye on the second thief. (And…. SHADE!)
(ARGH SDHFJSDHFSDHFJSD I GTG)
(AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!)
//nooooooooo
Cicada darted out grabbed her phone and ran back into the shadows.
(Kelly already threw the phone to Duke.)
(Sorry! Change phone to bag.)
(You're good! ;D)
Kelly chased the girl into the shadows and snatched her bag back.
Cicada on instinct flicked out her dagger and threw it at the girl. It grazed her left knee.
Kelly froze. Bag! She resumed the "chase" and managed to grab a hold of one of the straps. "Please! Please!" Kelly pleaded.
Cicada jerked it away from her, "Why do you need it so badly?!"
The momentum threw Kelly forward and she fell onto her stomach, getting brown smeared all over her cream-colored designer coat. She stayed down and let her tears mix with the mud.
Timothy leaned back in his seat, inspecting his cane. Why are they going after that rich girl like a pack of wolves? It's easier to pull up some dirt on some of the rich businessmen on the higher levels. That way, money is easier to come by.
Cicada felt bad for throwing her on the ground, but not bad enough. She got the bag!
Kelly pushed herself up, the mud making her look much fiercer than before. "Give me. The bag," she snarled.
Duke stayed where they had left him. He was done with chasing her. Done. He started back to HQ.
"And why should I do that?" the girl may have looked fiercer, but Cicada was ruthless.
"It's. Mine." Kelly curled her fingers into fists. Her voice had turned gravelly and sharp.
"And now it's mine," Cicada stuck her tongue out. It was fun to play with the girl.
"Duke. Please don't tell me that we're bringing that girl into the facility. Are we just letting everyone in nowadays?" Timothy glanced at him from where he was sitting, blank expression on his face.
"I don't think we are unless Cicada drags her in."
Kelly dove, not for the bag anymore, though it was still on her mind. She extended her hands towards the girl's abdomen and shoved her over.
"I don't think we are unless Cicada drags her in."
(That will prolly happen please.)
Victoria was still tied up in the main room, although she had managed to free one arm.
"How's our prisoner?" Duke crouched down next to her. 'Ah! Almost free! Lemme fix that."
“Nope.” Victoria rolled away.
