The demon scoffed. "You'll have to do more than that!"
Ellis frowned. "Yeah or we could blast you with the wormhole gun that'd do it."
The demon scoffed. "You'll have to do more than that!"
Ellis frowned. "Yeah or we could blast you with the wormhole gun that'd do it."
She grabbed her small blaster and found Ellis next to. . .what she figured would be level 10. "Ellis. . .?"
"Yes dear?"
A blush crept up her cheeks, but she shook it away. "What do you want me to do? Blast the thing?" Mari held up her gun.
"Is that the interdimensional teleporter?"
"I don't know, I just grabbed a gun. Is it?" Mariko held it up, scrutinizing it.
Ellis glanced back. "No. Go get that would you?"
"O-okay." She saluted and left, kind of stunned.
(So the demon is just politely standing there while they talk?)
(Some nice demon.)
(It's kinda inching closer)
The demon glanced around. "Let's see…who shall I posses first…"
Where had she last seen the teleporter? Right. The storage room. Mariko sprinted into the storage room, blue braids swinging behind her as she grabbed it and sprinted back. "I have it!"
"Good. This lil ass was about to posses someone." He reached his hand out, not looking away from the demon.
She gave it to him, staring at the demon. Why isn't it doing anything? Shouldn't it be killing us?
The demon hissed. "Alright I've waited long enough!" It dived to the ground, disappearing completely. "Shoot." Ellis glanced at his feet.
"Ellis. When we're done fighting this thing, I want to know why it was here." She shot a glance at him, shaking her finger.
(Who's it gonna get?)
"Yeah…WATCH OUT!"
The demon had sprung up behind Mariko. "You'll do." It hissed.
(Ohh noooo! excellent commentary)
"Wha-" Mari turned around, fear written in her eyes.
The demon took a deep breath and turned to mist.
"DON'T BREATH IT IN!"
Mari held her breath, staring at Ellis. I can't not breath for long. She was already starting to feel faint.
The mist shot towards her. It drifted up to her face.
Was this a new record? Her brain begged her to open her mouth. Breath. Breath. Breath! Mariko felt like she was drowning. Sinking underwater, not able to hear anything, except for her fading heartbeat. Die or be possessed?
(Definitely death
But for this possession)
Ellis watched helplessly as Mariko struggled to hold her breath.
She dropped to her knees, black clouding her vision. Breath, Mari. Breath. No, I can't. She gave a weak thumbs up, black mist shrouding her.
(Frickin breath Mari)
(lol)
"It's getting quiet out there." Ellen breathed. "What's happening?"
"I don't know…" Gaia muttered. "Maybe they killed it."
