As John watched all the commotion unable to fathom why someone would run over that girl. It was over before he could say a word in edge wise to help. He growls in frustration as he paces his study thinking about the incident. He hated feeling helpless …..just like he was when his ex-fiance killed his mom….He should have done something. But looking at the clock john knew he wasnt going to get any rest at all so he waits for his daughter to go to bed and he sneaks out to roam the town on his own

Nym got a strange feeling, the one's she usually gets when she had to explain a secret part about herself to someone. She assumed it was John, she grabbed her phone and the business card she had put in her wallet and dialed the number. Now she didn't know to call, text or tell him to meet her somewhere. She pressed the green call button and the phone began to ring
John frowned as he felt his phone vibrate so he picked it up and answered the call. Hello? john waits for someone to answer and looks up at the night sky as he is still walking
Jackie flopped down on her bed then sat up quickly. She had totally forgotten about John! She waved it off and tried to get some sleep.
Nym was faintly surprised he answered "Um, hi. I'm sorry, am I disturbing you?"
John smiles hearing Nyms voice and laughs softly No , you arent disturbing me. I am just out for a walk…. I amt bored and couldnt get any rest. So why are you calling so late Nym?
Nym sighed in relief "Wonderful, can I meet you somewhere?"
John ponders for a long moment trying to figure out why she would even want to meet up with him , but he agrees anyway Yes of course, were would you like to meet up?
"Anywhere, I just really need to talk to you." she sounded a bit weary
John frowns hearing something off in her voice and starts to walk faster How about your place, is that okay? john hopes Nym is okay and hasnt been hurt in anyway.
Nym looks around her house nervously Erm, yeah sure. I apologise in advance for the mess. She chuckled nervously
John smiles then checks his watch as he walks No its fine, you dont need to apologize. My study might be messier then your house put together. So I promise you it probably not that bad haha john rounds a corner and stops then looks at the street sign and repeats it to Nym then asks sheepishly Am I close?
*Nym giggles nervously, still * Oh, wow. Yeah, if you're where I think you are, then you should see a big yellow. Turn left and continue till you see a mint green house. That's me.
John nods to himself and continues to walk and turned left. Upon seeing her mint green house he smiles Hey Im here Nym , your house is quite cute. Once john get up to the door he hesitates on knocking on the door wondering if this was a good idea
She chuckled "Thanks, and I'm on my way down the stairs now." She hung up the phone and bounded down the stairs to open the door. She unlocked the door and almost flung it open "Hi, come on in. I'm sorry for calling you on short notice."
John flinches at how fast the door was thrown open and pockets his phone and laughs Its fine , I wasnt really doing much at the moment so I welcome the distraction Nym. As john walks into the house he looks around silently appreciating how quaint her house is
Jackie can't sleep and decides to go on a little late night adventure. She jumps out of bed and turns into a shadow version of a black cat (this is part of her powers jsyk, if you want I can explain them in full). She leaps out the window swiftly into the dark of the night. Anyone who looked would only see her small eyes if anything. She ran through the night and climbed up a hill. She sighed silently, looking over the great expanse of her little suburbs. As she looked she spotted movement down below. Lonely she needed company, whether or not they would notice her didn't matter she just needed to be by them. She dashed down the hill, ready for an adventure.
Nym chuckles Sorry, um please have a seat. Did you want a drink or snack? Nym was obviously procrastinating the conversation she had to have
John turns and faces Nym then shakes his head no as he looks gazes at Nyms face and looks away No , you seem to have something important to tell me and it sounds like something big.
Yeah, um Nym crosses over to the couch, sits, and looks up at him This is going to sound strange, I need you to have an open mind.
Skirting the houses, Jackie hears talking from inside one of them. It's mint green and beautiful. Jackie recognizes it from earlier when she followed the wrong person home. She leaps on to the window sill and sitting, begins meowing softly.
John decides to sit on the other side of the couch and swivels his body to face Nym Ok ….I promise to keep an open no matter what you tell me. John reaches over and place a hand on her shoulder and gives her a smile hoping it will make this easier
(Oooooo what's the conversation gonna be about?)
Gradually Jackie meowed louder and louder.
She smiles at him wearily I, um, I'm a special kind of human, thing Nym struggles with her words
John looks off to the window in the living room then away trying to ignore the annoying cat and pay attention to Nym "Yes? " John is unsure what to say and how to coax Nym into to telling him what she wanted to so he waits for her to explain what she means
Jackie puts her tiny cat face up to the window and listens in. Not necessarily trying eavesdrop but just for company and to feel included.
As John waits for Nym to try and explain what she means he glances at the window again and sees a cat. This makes john smile and reminds him of his cat at home named Kit
Nym snaps (because of the issue) What the hell is that? She stands up slowly and walks to the window It's just a small cat, I'm sorry. What I'm trying to say is I have a sort of… ability she walks back over to the couch, sits down, and hangs her head
Jackie sees that she caught John's attention and meows softly.
