Axtin's smile fell for a second in surprise, but then it immediately returned. He took one of her arms and gave her a gentle spin so she wouldn't fall as he let go. She seemed to get a bit too flustered around him. She was cute, but he didn't want to be so forward that it unnerved her.

Astra smirked at Axtin and River, completly shipping them. They were too cute together, almost like a fairytail romance. She continued dancing, considering getting another drink.

Axtin chucked at how flustered she was. "You alright there?" he asked.

"I know I just met you but, I just feel..like…I-know…Y'know? Like as if I want to…be with you…a-and….I'm sorry…I"

Astra stopped and made up her mind to get another drink. "What the hell," was her current thought process for all her standards. What would getting tipsy at one party matter. She took a chair and watched her new otp dance, sipping from her drink every so often.

Axtin stepped closer in her direction so that they were a few inches apart. He arched a brow as he listened to her stutter. He set his hands on her shoulders and embraced her. "Why be sorry?" he asked before pulling away, but still holding her hands, smiling.

" Okay….I'm not sorry" she squeezed his hands, " the truth is…I like you Axtin, even though I've only met you for a few minutes, and no it's not the alcohol talking because I'm the ride home and I didn't drink!"

Axtin laughed at her trying to explain herself. He was no light weight, but hadn't drank much besides the single beer. He kind of hoped his breath didn't smell like alcohol.

Axtin hugged her in return. "Might I have this dance?" he asked, arching a brow.

The music slowed into a softer sounding song. He guided River as they danced. He wouldn't have guessed that he would find a nice girl like the one right in front of him.

River tried her best to follow Axtin, she never was the best dancer, she'd dated tons of guys, but none gave her the feeling she was feeling at this moment, it was different…She liked it, she didn't want it to end.

He gave her another small spin, then setting one of his hands on her hip, the other holding one of her hands.

"so, Axtin tell me about you're self, besides that you know you're way around the dance floor."
