(oops I probably missed you then ^^; Oh well, I have to go soon as well and then I may not be back on until tomorrow)
"Sweet." Bernon easily vaulted across, landing lightly despite his size. "Let's hurry!"

"Sweet." Bernon easily vaulted across, landing lightly despite his size. "Let's hurry!"
The woods drew ever closer, and the pair were soon jumping over each roof with ease, “You’re a fast learner.” Tanrial panted as she stopped and waiting for Bernon to jump.
"Thanks," he replied, smiling as he landed beside her. "I have to be. In my life, I don't get second chances. Which makes me sound a lot cooler than I really am."
She shrugged, “I think you’re pretty cool.” She smiled as she swung gracefully down the ladder situated on the side of the building.
Bernon clambered down after her. "Aw, thanks! I think you're cool too."
Tanrial rolled her eyes, “Thanks. Come on, we’re nearly out.” She led the way through another side street, making sure to check that they weren’t being followed. Soon the trees came back into view.
Bernon put his backpack on again as they walked, making sure nothing had fallen out. "Do you think those guys were looking for us specifically?"
“It’s possible,” Tanrial thought, “Thranion wasn’t happy that I interupeted his hunt.” She flipped out a dagger, just in case as they walked across the open plain.
"His hunt, huh?" Bernon sighed. "Why are they so strict about trespassers? I've met hostile groups before, but usually they just drove me out. They didn't often try to shoot me on sight."
“I’m not sure,” Tanrial said with a frown, “Maybe it’s becuase before they didn't want people to find out about them, now it could be a territorial thing. Or they just don’t like visitors.”
(Just saying I’m gonna be off and on today becuase of my classes, sorry)
(that's okay, same)
He looked at her for a minute. "You really haven't kept in touch with them at all since you left, have you? Were they….that bad?"
She stayed silent for a minute, “To me, yes. I’m the fifth child so it was harder for me to be… accepted. It was always a constant battle between us before I left.”
"That's too bad. I never had any siblings." Bernon frowned. "It seems a shame you can't be friends, but maybe Evyn families are different than human ones."
“You’re not wrong there.” She mumbled as they continued to walk, fiddling with the dagger in her hands.
Bernon shook his head. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up. Let's just focus on getting back to your house."
She nodded in thanks, and agreement as they hurriedly walked to the field, making sure they weren’t being followed or tracked.
Bernon walked along beside her, admiring the afternoon clouds. "I suppose we should wait until tomorrow to figure out my magic. It's been a long day already."
(brb, having supper real quick)
“Yeah, I guess so,” The field appeared and she waved her hand and the glamour disappeared. Before Bernon could get to close she pulled him back, “Wait,” she concentrated on her magic and soon the house extended to two levels.
Bernon blinked in surprise. "Hey, cool! That's handy. Magic is incredibly useful, isn't it?"
“Yeah, I guess it does come in handy.” Tanrial started to walk but stumbled fowards.
"Oh, shoot." Bernon caught her shoulder. "Are you all right?"
She nodded faintly, “I used… to much..” She trained to steady herself with no luck.
Bernon slung her arm over his shoulder. "Let's get you inside. Do you just need to rest, or is there anything else I can do?"
“Water.” She rasped, she was barely standing at this point.
"Coming right up." Bernon half-carried her inside and set her down in the chair by the fire. "You just sit and rest for a minute. I'll find you something to drink."
(gotta go to bed now, sadly. seeya tomorrow!)
She nodded and rested her head on the back of the chair and closed her eyes, trying to gulp down as much air as possible, “Remind me to never go into construction.” Her voice was gravely as she spoke.
(Okie, see ya sooooon!)
Bernon laughed slightly, pouring her a cup of water and bringing it over. "Does this happen very often when you use your powers? It never occurred to me that it might be tiring."
(fair warning, I may not be here when you first get on)
“Sometimes,” Tanrial said she she took a gulp of the water, “Only in larger bursts. It doesn’t take too long to recover but after today it might take an hour so so.”
