@ShadeStar

Lillian fell asleep with Darren's kiss resonating on her forehead.

Her mother was in the backroom planning on a way of getting the boy out. She had an idea, and it was positively perfect.

Darren heard movement from within the room and stepped back.

@ShadeStar

Lillian's mother opened the door. Her long brown hair, freckles, tan skin, and startlingly green eyes greeted Darren. Along with a slight smile on her face.

Deleted user

Darren held perfectly still confused by the women's demeanor.

@ShadeStar

Lillian's mother looked at Darren's confused face, Good. "Now I know you're no theater kid, but you clearly care for my daughter."

Deleted user

Darren nodded slowly unsure of what was happening.

@ShadeStar

Her mother smirked, "If you truly do care for her you won't tell anyone about what goes on in this house. It means I'll simply have to cause her even more pain, and we don't want that do we?"

Deleted user

Darren shook his head, "No ma'am we don't."

@ShadeStar

"Good," Lillian's mother held the door, "Now run along, and remember. Don't tell anyone." She winked at him before closing the door in his face.

Darren didn't know what to do. Lillian was in danger and he couldn't find a way to fix it. "Stop!" He yelled through the door.

@ShadeStar

Lillian's mother locked the door and sighed in relief. No way could he break through the door. She pretended not to hear him as she walked further into the room.

Deleted user

Darren contemplated picking the lock but he held off with the illegal activity for as long as he could.

He pounded on the door, "Let me in. Please, I'll do anything!"

Deleted user

"Anything, just please let me in." Darren was in near tears.

@ShadeStar

She unlocked and opened the door. A smile was traved upon her lips seeing the boy so close to crying, “Then convince Lillian to quit theater.”

Deleted user

Darren stepped back, would he risk her current health, her life, for her dreams?

Deleted user

"Why do you want that so badly? She's happy, that's what you should want, she's your daughter!"

@ShadeStar

“That slut means nothing to me. She just a child who thinks they can make it big time. It’s about time Lillian grew the fuck up.”

Deleted user

"That's not true, you do care! If you didn't you wouldn't have cared where she was today. I know what not caring looks like and that's not it!" Darren's anger was returning.

@ShadeStar

“What do you know about me or Lillian?!” Lillian’s mother’s voice got louder, “She could go and die and I wouldn’t care!”

Deleted user

"If you don't care about her, you'll let me take her with me for the night."

@ShadeStar

“Go ahead!” she definitely wasn’t thinking at the moment, “Get into an accident while your at it brat!”

Darren pushed pass her and picked Lillian up off the couch, he laid her down gently in the back seat of his challenger and went back to grab the ibuprofen. "By the way ma'am you'll need more of these." Darren shook the bottle of medication at her.

@ShadeStar

Lillian’s mother was fuming as Darren left the house. She flipped him off before storming to her husband.

Darren got in his car as fast as he could.

Deleted user

Darren reached back and rubbed Lillian's arm, "Hey Lil, are you awake?"

Deleted user

Darren started the car and began the drive home. He was happy, he won! She was his, he could protect her.
They arrived home and Darren carried Lillian from the car to his bed upstairs.

When he got here he set her down gently and covered her with a blanket before walking over to the other side of the bed and removing his pants and shirt, he replaced his pants with pajama pants and crawled into bed next to Lillian.
