Jesse kept walking, then a thought entered his mind. Hadn't there been someone else there? They killed one of the monsters? He stopped for a moment and cast a glance back to see Rose standing there.

Rose waved at the boy who’d turned around. “More monsters,” she said, jerking a thumb behind her. “Don’t worry about it.” In one fluid motion, Rose stabbed a monster through the heart and beheaded another. Soon, the last three monsters were piles of ash, and Rose was calmly sheathing her sword.

June ran after her. "Don't leave me back there like that! i stood in that square for a whole 10 minutes wondering where you were!"

Jesse's eyes widened. "We have to get out of here. Now." He had no clue that there had been more monsters, and he and Hydra likely would have died in an ambush.

//yep

“Keep up,” Rose grumbled. “And pay attention. Wouldn’t want….” -she trailed off- “Nevermind.” Rose walked briskly over to the boy who was also, apparently, a Slayer.

//I was thinking that Rose could be like Agent May from AOS if that’s ok

June rolled her eyes and followed.

(Not sure who that is, tbh, but go for it.)
Jesse was still quite shaken. "Do either of you know anywhere we could go?" he asked, nervously tapping his fingers on the hilt of his blade.

//XD shes from Agents of SHEILD, a TV show loosely based off of the Avengers

“I have a safe house,” Rose offered. “But if I can’t trust you, you can’t come.”

"Well, can you trust me?" Jesse asked wearily, "It's not like I have any reason to betray you."

Hydra started to drift off from the group. It was enough that she had felt the reason and wanted to be nice to Jesse, but these others… She slowly walked further and further away, hoping no one would notice her disppear.

June turned. "Hey! Where are you going?"

"Hydra, you're hurt. Straying isn't a good idea with all that's going on," Jesse warned.

She tilted her head forward, letting her hair fall over her face, so she didn't have to directly look at them. "Do you underestimate my ability to take care of myself?" She had comepletely stopped, her voice deathly still, like she was ready to attack something.

"Not when you're injured and there are monsters running around. We're better suited to join with other people, whether we like them or not," Jesse told her. His mind flashed back to what had happened to his "other people." They were all gone, and he hadn't been able to save them, but he knew, had he been alone, he would not be standing here.

“I’m sure you’re just as much of a survivor as me,” Rose said listlessly. “And as long as you don’t have a monster honing beacon attached to your ankle, I will let you stay the night at my safe house. One. Night.”

There was no response from her. She stared in another direction, still completely tense. She drew her sword and flipped it around in her hand. She seemed to still want to go off, but stayed for some reason.
