"Lloyd it's just like watching a play just on a screen… it's a movie." Darren laughed.
"Lloyd it's just like watching a play just on a screen… it's a movie." Darren laughed.
"But… how..? What? How are they… moving?" Lloyd was incredibly confused. "Is it some type of magic?"
"There's no real need to freak out," she giggled even though she herself was fascinated by the movie. It was so unique.
"Not quite, it's a number system creating picture and sound…"
"Come back and watch the movie, Lloyd… it's a classic it will be worth it!" Darren laughed.
Lloyd seemed a bit skeptical, but he didn't ask any more questions and relaxed after a while. He eventually fell asleep about three quarters through the movie. He had seen enough of Riff's parts, and he was mentally exhausted.
Lillian was smiling trying to contain her laughter. Her face was still pretty red.
Darren put his arm around Lillian when he noticed that Lloyd had fallen asleep.
Lillian felt Darren's arm around her. She could hear Lloyd softly breathing as she leaned against Darren.
(Fun fact: Lloyd is actually two years younger than Lillian and Darren)
(Yes he is.)
Lillian leaned against Darren sending shivers up his spine. He rested his chin on the top of her head.
(Ye :D)
Lillian felt Darren's chin on her head. She felt her face heat up even hotter. Yeah, she had had crushes before, but nothing like this. Darren made her feel special, and every little thing he did seemed to have an effect on her.
(I should probably sleep now lol. It's about 2:15 in the freaking am soooo……)
Darren took Lillian's hand, "Lillian?" He said breaking the silence.
(I should probably sleep now lol. It's about 2:15 in the freaking am soooo……)
(Night)
(Night!)
"Yeah," Lillian responded. She felt Darren's hand on her own.
"There's something I need to talk to you about and it's hard for me so just hear me out okay?" Darren held her tighter.
Lillian squeezed his hand, "Of course. Is something wrong?"
“No nothing wrong, everything is– look I really like you…When I look at you I feel nervous and excited in an unexplainable way and I would be honored if you would go out with me, but I don’t want to ruin what we have here. Our friendship means a lot to me Lillian and I-”
Lillian got quiet her blush had spread to the back of her neck. She asked Darren, "Are-Are you asking me out? Like honest to God asking me out? Because this feels like I'm dreaming right now."
Darren held her away from her so he could see her even though it the only light was that coming from the TV. He moved in slowly not knowing what was happening and before he knew it his lips we brushing Lillian's.
Lillian's eyes were wide when Darren first kissed her. They shut quickly as she melted into the kiss and she pulled Darren closer to her.
He moved his hand to the back of Lillian's head to hold press her closer to himself. He pulled away slowly, "Is that a yes?" Darren laughed quietly.
Lillian rolled her eyes, she was beaming, "No, I just kiss random dudes," she nodded, "Of course it's a yes."
Darren pulled her back into a kiss. For the first time in his life, he felt complete, he didn't feel alone the way he had since his mom died. Everything melted around him and the only thing he could focus on was her.
Lillian smiled as he kissed her again. She felt cared for and appreciated, those were things she hadn't felt in a long time. He made her feel wanted and that was all that matter. Her parents couldn't take him away. In fact they were the furthest thing from her mind as she kissed him back.
Darren pushed Lillian so she was laying on her back and kissed her softly; movie still flickering in the distance.
Lillian wrapped her arms around Darren pulling him close to her body as she deepened the soft kiss. The movie static in the background.
