"Yeah! I mean, no. Wait, I don't mind, you can sit, yes, my name is Kam. Technically it's Kameo, but um, you can call me Kam if you want." he tugged on the sleeve of his shirt, feeling a bit paranoid.

"I can swim, though I'm not that good. . ." Cassie explained, rubbing the back of her neck. "Because I'm missing half a leg and whatnot. I'd love to go there with you though."
“I’ll give you a piggy-back ride or something,” she laughed, putting a hand over Cassie’s. “How does tomorrow sound?”
Cyrus chuckled a tad at Kam’s stammering state. He considered it to be a bit cute, actually, but he wouldn’t come out right away and say it. He sat down across from Kam, legs stretched out slightly under the table so they could fit better. “Thanks, man,” he said, seeming already comfortable and chatty. “I have a class with you, don’t I?”
"I-it sounds great." Cassie stammered, blushing as she glanced down at Lilith's hand. She cursed in her head for being so shy and flustered.
"You do. I sit behind you." Kameo laughed, an awkward smile taking up his face.
( Look, Kam and Cassie are the nervous ones xD )
“Oh yeah? I knew I recognized you from somewhere,” Cyrus said with a chuckle, smiling lazily as he did so. “You probably already knew this, but I’m Cyrus.”
"Yeah, I already knew that." Kam tugged at his ponytail. That sounded so rude, Kam, I swear.
Cyrus still had that same smile, and he shrugged his shoulders loosely. He leaned forward against his elbows. “That class is so boring. I feel like the professor has the most monotous voice. I’ve called asleep at least five times in that class before,” he said with a chuckle.
"Ha, yeah. Professor Mercury does have a monotonous voice." Kameo traced circles on the table.
Cyrus shifted positions again, leaning back in his chair now. He was always filled with energy, so he was constantly fidgeting. “He’s a perfectly good teacher and all, but his lectures can get so tiring.”
"I-it sounds great." Cassie stammered, blushing as she glanced down at Lilith's hand. She cursed in her head for being so shy and flustered.
“You’ll love it, promise,” she said, lifting her hand and kissing it.
//look Lilith still has the manners from the Victorian Era :P
"Uh-huh." he was mostly fixated on Cyrus's nose. He had a nice nose.

( Haha, nice.)
Cassie was pretty sure her blush had deepened even more, standing out against her white blond hair. She nodded and fidgeted with the hem of sweater as she grinned. "I can't wait."
(Lmao what a random feature to point out)
Cyrus’ fingers tapped against the table top in a rhythmic way. His eyes glanced Kam over for a moment before going back up to his face. “Hey, how old are you?”
"19." Kam stared at Cyrus's left eyebrow. "You?"
//shall we like
timeskip
then
( Sure, we can timeskip for us I guess. And @Nerd and @Desvelarse can continue)
863. “21,” Cyrus responded, running his fingers through his bed-head looking hair. He hoped that he looked about the age that he described.
"Two years older than me. So like, when I was in fourth grade, you were n sixth." Kameo was starting to notice how incredibly awkward he was acting.
I would have been a senior in high school while you were in the fourth grade. “Yeah, that sounds right. What a strange thing to point out,” he said with a chuckle.
"Ha ha yeah." strange. I'm strange.
A muscle in Cyrus’ jaw twitched as he clenched it, thinking of something to say. “You live in the dorms or near the college?”

//same tho
Early the next morning, Lilith knocked on Cassie’s dorm room and waited patiently for her to show.
"I live near the college with some roommates. They're pretty nice." Kameo thought about them for a second. Dove and Kanoa. Nice girls.
Cassie stumbled across the room, looking for her glasses now that she had run out of contacts. She squinted as she fumbled around, her prosthetic running into things and resulting in loud bangs.
"I'll be right there!" Cassie called out as she slipped a faded yellow sweater on, fixing her jeans as she grabbed her converse. After a few minutes, she opened the door, her glasses placed crookedly on the bridge of her nose.
( I gave her some glasses just cause xD )
Cyrus nodded slowly in understanding, smiling. “I live in the dorms. Didn’t get stuck with a roommate, thankfully. Not that having one would have been terrible, but privacy is a great thing.”
"Yeah, totally." he was just agreeing with everything Cyrus said.
Cyrus’ foot tapped on the floor, listening to the sound of Kam’s heart beat. What a terrible temptation. “What are you majoring in?”
