Okay, so I’ve been thinking about doing a messy little RP with two exes stuck working together on tour. One of them’s the star— could be a rapper, pop singer, rockstar, whatever you’re feeling (and for any songs they'd sing, you can either make it up, base it off of a real song, or not actually write it out). The other’s someone in the mix. A backup dancer, stylist, lighting tech, producer, stage manager. Basically, they used to be together, now they’re not, and now they’re forced to be around each other constantly.
I don’t have a set-in-stone plot. I’m more interested in playing around with flawed characters— ones that don’t always make the best/healthiest choices, still have feelings they won’t admit, hold grudges, maybe date other people just to be petty. That kind of thing.
The breakup was messy. What I have loosely in mind is that the star didn’t want to go public with the relationship and maybe came off way too friendly with fans or coworkers. But that’s just one side of the story. Whoever you choose to play, feel free to add your own take or spin. I’m open to changing the reason if you’ve got something better too.
I'm honestly here for any dramatic scenario/ angst that's created.
And a few things:
• 18+ only. This RP’s gonna have mature themes. If anything NSFW happens, we can keep it in PMs— or just move the whole RP there if that’s easier.
• If we haven’t written together before, I’d love a writing sample. Nothing huge, just a way to see if our styles match. If I pass, it’s nothing personal— I just wanna make sure we both enjoy it.
• Please tell me your limits. Whether it’s stuff you don’t want to write, character control stuff, or emotional triggers— just let me know before we start so we’re on the same page.
• No pressure on replies. I get that life happens. If you need time, cool. If you lose interest, just let me know— I’m super chill about that kind of thing.
