The place: The Intergalactic Prison Complex, floating in Open Space, made to hold all kinds of Criminals.
The Characters: Two characters, Character A and Character B, both convicted for crimes they didn't do. And they have ended up as Cellmates.
The World: A Sci-Fi setting, in Space! Specific setting details left vague for some freedom with character creation.
A One on one Rp, also involving a prison break probably.

Height and Weight: Chet is roughly 6'/1.8m tall, and weighs around 170lbs/77kgs.
Hair Color: Sandy Blonde
Hair Style: Completely shaved bald, at the moment
General looks: He's got a dusky complexion, and hazel eyes. He's not skinny, but wiry, with no bulk but a decent amount of lean muscle. Big eyes, a long nose, and a small mouth give him a perpetually wide-eyed expression. Few scars here and there that look like they came from working with machinery.

Personality: kinda quiet and nerdy. Chet seems fairly timid in prison. He keeps his head down and stays out of trouble. In his cell, though, he's able to relax a bit more, and is shown to be a gentle, fun loving person. Without talking to him, you'd never know it, but he's extremely smart. Something has marked him, some trauma of some kind, and some days, he can barely function after a night of no sleep because of nightmares.

Personalty: A pretty cheerful young man with a penchance for stories and dreaming. Since arriving in prison, he has grown a little more jaded and cynical about those in control, but he is still optimistic and hopeful about an eventual escape.
Likes: Books, the stars, stories, peace and quiet, freedom, adventure,
Dislikes: Authority, People who tell him what he can and can't do, arbitrary rules, empty skies, boring moments,
Background: Lived on a planet with a Strict hierarchy and control over space travel, and sought to leave it to travel in the stars above. He managed to steal a space craft to leave, but eventually the Ruler of that world found a way to frame him for multiple acts, that landed him in this prison.

"Alright, back into the cell Kazos." A guard jabs Kazos in the back with a Staff, forcing him to walk down the hall towards his 'home away from home'. Kazos replies, "Okay, okay! Thank you for using my full name though Marcy!" The guard, Marcy smirks. "You're welcome. Hope you had a good lunch."
"Oh, it was delicious. Best gruel I've ever had." Kazos jokes.
"I'm sure it was. Alright, we're here."
They stop in front of the cell doors, and Marcy goes through the keys on her key ring. "I hear you'll be getting a new cellmate soon. So, thats something to look forward to, isn't it?" She inserts her key, and the door swings open. Kazos walks through and answers, "Yeah, it is! Hope you have a good rest of the day Marcy! Maybe there'll be a riot or something to shake up your day!"
"Hopefully kiddo, hopefully…" Marcy shuts the door, and locks it, heading back to the main prison hall.
Kazos hops onto his lacking bed, and relaxes. The Prison, is very lacking in anything to do, as he found out quite quickly. No form of library, if you could believe it! As such, they had to resort to the power of being an extrovert, and befriended a few of the normal prison guards, such as Marcy. Most of the guards were quite normal people, they weren't actively cruel for the most part. Well…. Mostly. There was 1 or 2 bad eggs, but the prison was…livable. The people here were people like him. No one really wanted to be here, neither prisoner nor guard. But this was the way of it.
Kazos rolls over onto his other side, feeling restless, but there isn't much else to do in the evenings. Except think.

He kept his eyes down as they walked through the long corridors. Intake had taken longer than he'd expected, and the endless questions had drained what was left of his mental stamina. He was ready to crash and not wake up for a good long while.
The guard behind him hit him in the back with the flat of his Staff, making him stumble. He didn't even question it at this point; he was likely falling asleep on his feet and hadn't realized it. The electro-manacles on his legs didn't help, limiting his steps and shocking him if he started moving too quickly.
The last couple of days had been… insane. He hadn't had time to think, much less process the mess he was in. And while he was not happy about his current situation, at least it would give him time to think and work through what was happening.
The guard in front of him stopped rather abruptly, and not walking into his back was a chore. He couldn't even put his hands up to keep his balance, the mag-cuffs holding his hands tightly to the metal belt they'd put on him. Still, he managed it.
The keys on the guard's ring clinked as he found the right one and slotted it into the lock on the door to the next section of the prison. The mind does funny things when it's low on sleep and looking for any distraction. For instance, instead of thinking of his current predicament, watching the guard unlock the door, his mind grasped at the key and lock instead.
The lock was no ordinary lock. It was definitely magnetically sealed and made electronically inert; the key would have to send a spark of very particular power into the lock to open it. On top of that, from here, he could see the biometric sensors on the key. It wouldn't allow anyone but the guard who owned it to use it, making it largely theft proof.
His mind raced as it came up with several ways to get around that, things he'd studied, devices he'd built…
He was still thinking about that when the guard stopped again, and this time, he did run into the guy's back, earning a shove and a glare for his trouble.
The guard opened a cell door and nudged him forward. He stepped through the door, turn to face the guard. A couple taps of his datapad, and the guard had released the mag-cuffs, as well as the electro-manacles, both of which returned to their spot on the guard's belt. Without so much as a word, the guards left, closing the door behind them.

He turned back to look around his cell, and made eye contact with his cellmate. He stood there, staring, trying to decide if he should say something.

Kazos waves at his new cellmate as they enter the room. "Heya! Nice to meet you, what're you in for?"
He hops off the bed and holds out a hand to shake. He's grinning, happy to see a new face. His cellmates tended to rotate out, as their sentences would pass, or they would be sent to a different prison, or their punishment would be doled out. Kazos' punishment was both mild, yet eternal. Due to his supposed crimes, he was imprisoned here basically for life. He'd met lots of people, and gotten very used to the prison. Due to the lack of change in here, a new cellmate was always a bright light in a boring imprisonment.
"I'm Kazos!"

Chet swallowed his immediate irritation and shook hands with his new cell mate, ignoring the question. "Name's Chet. Good to meet you, Kazos." It wasn't, but that was just cuz it was prison. "I assume top bunk is mine?" His energetic cell mate had hopped off the lower bunkbed, leaving Chet with the upper one. "They told me my stuff would come through the replicator in the commissary. That sound about right?" Rather than assigning prisoners stuff, the prison allowed them to order it from the Nano Forge in the prisoners' shop. It was a heavily locked down process, but was easier than the prison having to keep track of people's mattress, jumpsuit, shoes, hygiene items, and other stuff.

"Yup! Sounds about right, you should be able to get all the essentials from there." Energized by the social interaction, Kazos lets go of Chet's hand and strolls to the other side of the room as he continues to talk. "I haven't used that thing since I first got into here, since its just for the basic living requirements. I've got the same jumpsuit since I started!" Kazos pulls on his suit, which is still in pretty good condition. "Good thing I haven't had any growth spurt since then, yeah? Though might be due to how its replicated, artificaial stuff like that seems to hold up quite well. But anyways, yeah they'll probably bring them to you, or maybe call you up so you can be measured to ensure it fits and stuff. Depends on if your size is on file or not. Hopefully you'll get them before dusk, since it'd suck to sleep without your uniform or a mattress!" Kazos chuckles at that.

Chet shrugged. "They took those measurements when I came in the doors- same scanner that checks for weapons, implants, and bio-enhancers. It should be fine." He was slowly beginning to feel the exhaustion settle into his bones, and Kazos being so cheerful wasn't helping.
Though I shouldn't complain… at least he's friendly. I could have got stuck with a maniac…
He shook his head to clear it, and did his best to scrounge up a smile for his cellmate. "I figured I'd get it when they let us out for the night cycle lunar hours." With so many of the inmates being from all over the galaxy, there were several nocturnal species who needed lunar exposure to live, or at least remain sane. So there were free day hours and free night hours. The Intergalactic Prison Complex was massive, large enough to be the size of a small moon itself, and its natural rotation in the dark of space near Rigel-103 caused day/night cycles.
The cell blocks in the complex would have their doors open during certain hours of both cycles, unless the inmates chose to keep their doors locked during one cycle or the other.
Kazos made a good point about dusk coming soon, but Chet was used to keeping odd hours anyway, so staying up to wait for the night hours wasn't going to bother him. He'd go down to the commissary then and get his stuff.
When he'd known he might end up here, Chet had started asking questions, and his jailmates in the small jail on Ceres had let him know what was up.
"You typically sleep through the night?" He'd do his best not to disturb Kazos if that was the case.

"Oh yeah those things! Right, right." Kazos came from a relatively low-tech world, so he wasn't used to such small information gathering devices. Lots of nano-tech surprised Kazos, he hadn't even noticed most of the surrvalence systems in the first month of being in the prison.
"Well, currently I try to sleep during the Lunar Cycle, and stay awake during the Day cycle hours. Thought, really its more natural for me to sleep during the day. it just feels great to be awake during the Lunar hours….But it kinda stimulates me too much, and its not really a good thing to be energized when in a prison. Not too much to do in here, aside from waiting out the hours. It feels good on my skin but…." As Kazos trails off he looks up at the ceiling, like he's trying to look at something beyond it. " But anyways, that ends up causing me more trouble in the long run. So, Yes, I sleep during the night mostly. Makes me more docile, so I'm not hassling everyone as much. I've been told I can be a pain in the ass sometimes! And ramble."
