That was it, nothing was going to happen. Vox had held out a tiny bit of hope that Ollie had been playing hard to get, but that was squashed when he got into bed and turned away. He guessed that he would have to spend another night going hungry, because there clearly wasn’t even the smallest amount of pleasure in the room at the moment. He wouldn’t be going anywhere, though. Not unless Ollie knew someone who wanted to summon an incubus. There was a huge emphasis on wanted, as well. He didn’t want to get stuck with another person like this.
Demons had no need for sleep. Really, the only demons he heard of that slept on the regular were demons of sloth. That was a given, though. He rarely ever slept, as it felt quite boring for him. He didn’t dream, so there was never anything to look forward to. He only ever found himself sleeping if he was extremely bored and had nothing else to do. Tonight might be one of those nights, since clearly, he wasn’t getting fed.
Vox stayed above the covers as he sat up and unbuttoned his shirt, dropping it on the floor next to the bed. He was comfortable enough in his own skin that he could have lounged around naked if he had wanted. The mark on his abdomen was now visible, along with the the branding on his shoulder blade. He rolled over to lay on his stomach, pulling out his smart phone. He opened up a camera app, seeing a view of his own bedroom. He squinted at the screen, smiling in a satisfied way when he saw his cat Lilith curled up asleep. If would be a long night, so he needed to find something to occupy himself.
Oliver lay on his side and promptly stared at the wall. His mind was still racing. It wouldn't shut up. And he couldn't very well sleep if his mind was on other things. He shifted a few times in the bed, never facing the demon, but clearly agitated. he just wanted to forget that Vox was even there. He wanted to pretend that he couldn't feel the bed dipping where the demon lay. That he couldn't feel the heat rising off of his body. He wanted to pretend that the attractive man wasn't affecting him at all. Because it wasn't that he didn't find Vox attractive. Or that whatever dark magic he had used on Ollie earlier hadn't worked. Because it did work. But he was so spooked and shocked he didn't act on it. And he had meant what he said about needing a connection. Just because his body was into it didn't meant that his head was.
Much later than he wanted, and several times scrolling on social media, he finally passed out a couple of hours later. A couple of hours of silence. A couple of hours of trying and failing to ignore the demon lying beside him. A couple hours and forcing himself not to turn over and start asking questions. He was curious, and if Vox wasn't going anywhere, he might as well soothe his curiosity over. But he worried that Vox might try to make arrangements that got the demon what he wanted. Some sort of pleasure feeding. And Ollie was not some meal to be snacked on.
But finally, finally, his eyelids grew too heavy to keep open. They finally fell, just as dawn was only a couple hours away. His body fell into an exhausted sleep. And his sleep wasn't much better than before. He tossed and turned, clearly as uncomfortable in his sleep as he was awake. He was restless, even in his sleep. it was likely why he was so damn tired all the time, even with his already limited sleep. It didn't help he felt trapped in the little clothing he wore. It was irritating his skin. He wanted to rip it right off. He didn't however. He settled for moving the pillow barrier he had created and all but draping himself over Vox. He hadn't meant too. He was sleeping after all. And if he had been awake, he would have been horrified of his actions. but it had been so long since he had anyone in his bed. He craved the affection.
Vox spent most of the night on his phone. He switched between social media and his cat cam. That was the thing he hated the most about being summoned- having to leave his sweet Lilith. He knew that she had her automatic cat feeder and water bowl, but he still worried about her. That's why he had gotten the camera installed. It was only a nice coincidence that it had been facing towards his bed. It had been used a couple of times for non-cat watching purposes, but that wasn't its primary function.
Vox was very surprised, though, when Ollie rolled over and snuggled up to him. That was a bit of an understatement, as the other man was draped against his bare chest at the moment. His brows raised in surprise, beginning to think that Ollie had made up his mind, but then he noticed at Ollie was asleep. He groaned softly with annoyance, knowing that if Ollie woke up like that, he would surely freak out even further and accuse him of something nasty. He didn't mind having the other lay across him. The weight of him was nice enough to be comforting in a way. His choices were to either leave Ollie how he was and defend his innocence or move Ollie off of him.
Vox made his decision, feeling like doing the right thing that time around. He reached up, grabbing onto Ollie's waist and carefully scooching him off of his chest. He was being careful to not wake Ollie, though he had no idea if the other man was a light sleeper or not. He grabbed Ollie's wrists and moved his arms off of him as well, mumbling in annoyance under his breath. He took it as Ollie being some sort of tease, and that bothered him. That was supposed to be his job. His tail swished back and forth against the sheets as he huffed.
(Now I want to know what those non-cat watching purposes were)
Had Oliver awoken at any time during this process, he would have been horrified with himself. He would have blamed Vox for him being responsible for this while inwardly crusiong himself for draping himself all over Vox like a love sick puppy. The truth of it was that he was just attention starved. His love language was physical touch and yet it was the very thing that he was lacking. He hadn't had a partner is almost a year, not that he was desperate for one, but he was touch starved. Most of his friends preferred to keep their hands to themselves, which he respected of course, but they wouldn't even give him a hug from time to time. So to have a warm body in his bed, of course he was drawn to it. To him. Especially when that body was an attractive one.
He didn't try again during the remainder of the night. His alarm went off early in the morning, and earlier than Ollie was happy with. He wished he could have skipped all of his classes and continued sleeping. But unfortunately had an exam he couldn't miss. And if he was already up for one, he might as well join the rest of the classes. He needed to go to them anyways. he did better in a classroom setting than learning at home.
His eyes snapped open with a groan and he reached blindly until he found his phone, shutting off that blaring alarm. He rolled onto his back, glaring at the ceiling. He knew he said that sleep was overrated but god did he just want a few more hours. As he made to rise, he noticed the body laying down next to him and let out a yelp. It took another moment for him to remember last night's events. The spell, the summoning, the demon. The incubus. In his bed. Right, he still needed to figure out a way to get rid of him because it didn't look like he was leaving on his own. He looked away quickly from Vox and turn his body away, going to grab some clothes out of his dresser. He needed to shower. And more importantly, hide his morning wood from Vox. The last thin he needed was the incubus thinking he was getting laid just because Ollie involuntarily woke up with a boner.
(Considering it’s pointed to his bed and he does bring people home from time to time… The dots can be connected LMAO. Also on mobile, so sorry for the shortish reply)
Vox wasn’t stupid. He had seen Ollie’s hard on. It was painfully obvious, and he could practically smell it. He was laying on his back watching the cat cam when Ollie woke up. He flinched in surprise when Ollie yelped, shooting him a raised brow look. “Good morning to you too,” he said, turning his smart phone off and setting it off to the side. He looked Ollie up and down, once again staring at his legs as he chuckled. “Have some good dreams?” he asked in a teasing tone, ready to give Ollie plenty of shit for his morning wood.
“Someone was feeling snuggly last night. It was you, you were,” Vox hummed, tilting his head as he looked back up to Ollie’s face. “I practically had to pry you off of me. I thought you were finally making a move on me.”
Vox got up from the bed, stretching his arms out. He looked around the floor until he found his discarded button down shirt. He slipped it on but left it unbuttoned with his torso exposed. “Before you start screaming at me, no I didn’t touch you. Well, I did, but only to get you off of me.”
(XD XD XD That will come into use later mawhahaha)
Oliver clenched his jaw, turning away. He didn't respond to that. He did not have good dreams. Or at least, he didn't think he did. He really couldn't remember. He never remembered his dreams and he was alright with that. He wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do about his little morning wood. Usually, he would take care of it in the shower but he felt like that wasn't an option with Vox there. He could wait until it went away but he had a feeling Vox would do everything he could to keep his little issue present. It wasn't as if he could control his morning wood. It just happens!
He froze just as he was opening his underwear drawer to grab some clean underwear. He was staring at the wall like a deer caught in the headlight. A blush spread from his neck all the way up his ears. It was bright red and other was no hiding it. "W-what? N-no I wouldn't d-do that!" He sputtered, clearly taken off guard. That had been the last thing he had expected Vox to say. Or for Ollie to do. Dear god had he actually done that?
He shut the drawer a little harder than necessary, turned on his feet, and strode out of his room. His roommate would have already left for school so it was just Ollie and Vox alone in the apartment. Which meant he would hopefully be able to sneak Vox out before anyone noticed and get rid of him. After classes. His roommate shouldn't be back until later that evening so he had some time.
(LMAO yes very very convenient)
Vox laughed at Ollie’s surprised reaction. It was amusing to see the other so flustered. It was exactly what he had wanted to see when he said that. “You did! I swear to Satan. You rolled over and just threw yourself onto me,” he hummed, having a casual tone. “You’re lucky that I’m such a good guy. Other demons would have taken advantage of that, but I was so respectful and moved you off of me. You’re welcome for that.”
Vox watched Ollie hurry out of the room, and he quickly got up, planning to follow. He hurried out of the room, long stride making it easy to catch up and walk behind Ollie. “Where are you going?” he asked, tail swishing back and forth slowly. He was like a clingy cat, wanting to follow their owner all over their house and meowing insistently. “What am I supposed to do while you leave for class, hm? Is there anything to do around here?”
It was clear he was planning on staying, or that he thought he would. Maybe he would leave for a bit to see his cat, but would make sure to be back when Ollie would be done with his class. He wondered what Ollie would do about his hard on. He wanted to suggest helping out, but really didn’t feel like getting hit at the moment.
Ollie made a face as he heard Vox following him. He had hoped for a moment of peace and quiet. He wanted to use the shower to wrap his head around things and help him think. Hot showers always allowed him time to think. But he wouldn't be able to do that if Vox planned on interrupting. Not that he would shower with the demon in the bathroom with him. He wasn't going to have the incubus near him while he was naked. He was not into that at all.
His jaw clenched and he tried biting his tongue. Angering an incubus wasn't the smartest thing to do. He didn't know what magic Vox had and he didn't particularly want to find out. "I'm going to shower. Alone," he emphasized, looking back at Vox to narrow his eyes at him. "You can wait in my room. Or leave and go back to wherever you came from." He was hoping for the second option. "Just don't let anyone see you. I really don't want to have to explain this to anyone."
He paused in front of the bathroom door, turning and placing his hands on his hips. "My food is on the second shelf in the fridge and the third in the pantry. Don't eat it all or you're buying me more food. TV is in the living room, feel free to entertain yourself." Or leave. That would be preferable.
Vox didn’t have much serious magic. Besides his pheromones, he was close to being like a normal person. Different demons had different abilities. Demons of sloth could make someone fall asleep with just a touch. Demons of wrath could make people grow angry and fight each other with a snap of their fingers. All demons of lust could do was make people want to sleep with them, which wasn’t that crazy of a thing in his mind. Ollie didn’t need to know that, though. He was content with Ollie thinking that he could cast crazy spells of make him implode with just a single thought.
“Mm, right. Have fun alone with your little problem,” Vox snickered, glancing down towards Ollie’s boxers. He decided he would hang around and snoop through the apartment. If he was lucky, maybe Ollie would do something about his morning woof in the shower and he could feed a little bit off of it. While he doubted Ollie would, an incubus could dream.
Vox stepped away, heading back to the bedroom first. He looked around at things sitting on shelves and hidden away in drawers. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting to find, but anything that he could dangle in front of Ollie’s face would be worth it. He still had the entire apartment to poke around in, so he had to be a bit quick about it. He could continue when Ollie went to class.
Oliver had never been a violent person. He hadn't hit anyone a day in his life. But he was seriously considering it the longer he stared at Vox. And the longer that Vox ran his mouth, the more his hand was itching to slap that smug look off of his face. So he did the smart thing and walked into the bathroom, and locked the door behind him. He assumed that Vox wouldn't be able to unlock it. He hoped that he didn't have any powers that would allow him to. The last thing he needed was to get out of the shower and Vox be sitting on the toilet waiting for him.
He stared at himself in the mirror, grimacing as he saw the bags under his eyes. They were darker than yesterday. He really did a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, that would have to wait a little longer until his little demon problem was solved. He turned on the shower and undressed while he waited for the water to get hot. One of the nice things about this apartment was how quickly the water got hot.
He stepped under the hot spray, groaning quickly as it hit his skin. There was nothing better in life than a hot shower. Well, maybe a hot bath, but only at certain times. He washed his hair and body and by the time he was done, his little morning problem had gone away on its own. Thankfully, he didn't know what he would have done it if hadn't. He couldn't very well touch himself with a demon who knew every time he did.
It was clear after a while that Ollie would not be pleasuring himself in the shower. Vox found himself annoyed by that, knowing that Ollie wasn't going to just because of him. It was frustrating that the man wouldn't give him anything to even lightly snack on. It was like the pleasure had been sucked from the air throughout the entire apartment, leaving him high and dry.
Vox took the time to explore the apartment instead. He poked around Ollie's bedroom, the kitchen, and the living room. He noted anything interesting that he could bring up to Ollie after the man finished his shower. Eventually, he stumbled upon the other bedroom. It was furnished, someone clearly living there. Ollie had a roommate. That hadn't been mentioned to him before. Not, he had plenty of questions. Maybe the roommate had something to do with why Ollie wouldn't sleep with him.
Vox settled back in Ollie's bedroom, looking at the remnants of the spell work that was left on the floor. He wasn't sure how it could have been mistaken as a luck spell. He was fluent in Latin, so it was easier for him to judge. He recognized the symbol that was on the webpage as the one branded into his back, the mark of lust. Clearly, Ollie was some sort of novice witch who had no idea what he was really playing with.
Oliver took a longer shower than he normally would. He was using the time to think about what he was going to do. He would have to do some research when he got home from classes and see if he could figure out a way to banish Vox, since it was clear he wasn't leaving on his own. He would have to figure it out on his own. It would have to be something strong as well. Vox didn't seem like the type to go quietly. He thought for a moment about getting his roommate involved but knew better than to try that. It would just end up in a long lecture from him he didn't feel like sitting through.
Thankfully, by the time he got out of the shower, his morning wood had subsided. He wasn't in any danger of accidentally setting off the demon currently in his apartment. Or at least he hoped he wasn't in any risk to set him off. He dressed in a graphic t-shirt and jeans, brushing his teeth while he was at it. He would let his hair air dry, even if it made it look frizzy and a mess. He didn't particularly care about that. He rarely ever took good care of his hair. he had other things to worry about than that.
He walked back to his room, eyeing Vox as he grabbed some clean socks out of a drawer and pulled them on. "Listen, you need to stay here while I'm at school. And by here, I mean in my room quietly. I can't have my roommate catching you. I should be back before he gets here but just in case." He needed Vox to stay hidden. He hoped that he could figure out a way to get rid of Vox before his roommate got home later today.
When Ollie entered the room, Vox was laying spread out on the bed again. He was on his stomach, tapping away at something on his phone. It was some mindless texting that he was doing to keep himself occupied. It was clear that he was once again making himself comfortable, though. If he was to be there for a while, he planned on doing so. He looked up at Ollie, head tilting in a cat like manner. “Yeah, about that roommate, why didn’t you tell me you had one?” he asked, “Is he interested in an incubus? If he sleeps with me I’ll leave you alone.”
Vox spoke in a teasing manner, chuckling afterwards. It was true, though. He was feeling nice. If Ollie for his roommate to mess with him, he would gladly leave knowing he would be full and satisfied. He doubted that would happen, though. He had poked around in the roommates room, and clearly the other guy was much more of an experienced witch. “Or are you too embarrassed to tell him about how bad you fucked up?” he added, snickering to himself as his tail flicked back and forth.
Oliver narrowed his eyes at Vox who was looking a little too comfortable on his bed. This wasn't Vox's house. It wasn't his room. He didn't pay rent. Hell, Ollie didn't even know the guy except that he was an incubus. And yet he was sprawled out on the mattress as if he owned the place. He might have said something too, he should have said something, if it weren't for how exhausted he was. His head wasn't in the mindset to fight. He just wanted to get this exam over with. Then he could focus on whatever was going on here.
He blinked in surprise at Vox. Had he been wondering around the apartment? "Alright, rule number one, don't go into other people's bedrooms. I have two other roommates for your information and they like their privacy. They're just not in right now." He was full on glaring at him now. "And no, neither of them will sleep with you. First of all being, they're straight. And second of all, they're not going to know about you."
He clenched his jaw as he slipped on his shoes. "No one needs to know about this. Since you won't go willingly, I'm going to find a way to send you home by the time I get done with school. I'll banish you and then this will all be as if this never happened and no one else needs to know. And then you can go to a bar or a party or whatever and find someone to hook up with you there." Because he was certainly not hooking up with him. Not at all. And Vox had nothing to do with the boner he had that morning.
Vox groaned in annoyance at the mention of Ollie’s roommates being straight. That was boring to him. Seemed like no one in the house liked to have fun. He had slept with quite a few men that claimed to be straight. Most of them seemed to already be struggling with their sexuality, and when he came along being promiscuous, it was easy for them to fold.
A frown came on Vox’s lips when Ollie mentioned banishing him. “I really doubt that. Good luck, though,” he hummed, shrugging his shoulders. His doubt was real. Ollie clearly had no idea what he was doing, considering him being summoned in the first place was a screw up. He didn’t think Ollie would be able to do it, but would love to see him try. Banishing a demon was a lot. Not only was it difficult, but it took a lot of energy out of a person. He hadn’t been banished before, but he had seen it happen to others. It tended to leave the spell caster worse off than the demon, from what he has seen.
"Or, you could make this easier on both of us and just leave?" Oliver said it more like a question than a statement. He already knew what the response was so he wasn't holding out in much hope that Vox would just walk out the door. Or poof out of his existence. He ran a hand through his wet hair, grabbing his backpack for school. "Listen, just stay in here, please. Grab some food from the kitchen if you need it but come right back in here. Please. I don't need anyone catching you."
Gods, he was not ready for the fallout that would occur if either of his roommates caught Vox. It would end well for him. Ollie really needed to start doing more research. Or to just stop doing spells off the internet in general. This wouldn't be the first time he had mixed up a spell and screwed himself over. "Can I trust you to behave while I'm gone? I'll only be a few hours. I should be back around noon."
(Hi sorry for the delay, work has been killer with the holidays coming up. Do you want me to write a reply that can kind of be a time skip to when Ollie gets back?)
(You're totally fine! And yeah, that sounds good to me!)
(Hi sorry I’ve been going through it LMAO)
Vox absolutely wouldn’t be making things easy. While he would listen and not get caught by Ollie’s roommates, that didn’t mean he would be completely obedient. He poked around Ollie’s room as much as he was able to before he eventually got bored enough to go to the kitchen. He ended up getting himself a bit of water. While he didn’t need to eat or drink, he was bored enough to do so. What was he supposed to do with himself if he wasn’t having sex? That was his entire purpose, after all, and it felt like it was his whole identity. What did he have if he wasn’t able to be sexual?
He was more than able, though, just resisting. He wasn’t sure why he was putting in so much effort to sink his talons into Ollie. Hunger made a person do things they normally wouldn’t, and he was starving. He considered going to his flat quickly to feed Lilith, but decided to just message a neighbor of his to feed the cat instead. The last thing he wanted was for Ollie to get back before him and get the idea that he had left.
By the time Ollie got back from class, Vox was sitting on the bed, watching the cat cam. He watched closely as the male neighbor fed the cat and gave her plenty of attention. He had slept with the male neighbor in the past. He was a human, one of the few that willingly knew about what Vox was. While it had only been a couple of hookups, they had bern during desperate times and Vox had made sure the man got the idea that there were no feelings involved.
(I hope everything is okay!! Good to see you back though)
Oliver could not focus during his exam. His mind kept wandering back to the incubus that was waiting for him at home. An incubus. An actual incubus. He was so stupid. He needed to stop choosing spells to do while sleep-deprived. When he was sleep deprived, he never did his research, which had bit him in the ass more than once. Only this time, it was a big bite. And the incubus might actually bite his- No, nope, not going to think that way.
He was pretty sure he bombed his test. He took way longer to finish it than he normally did and was relying on muscle memory more than anything. he really hoped that he passed the exam, he needed to pass it, but his mind was so preoccupied that he didn't particularly care. After his exam, instead of going to his next class, he went to the library where he started to research. Research how to banish an incubus. he thought it would be a quick google search but it turns out to be a lot harder than he was expecting. This was another reason he really needed to stop doing things he didn't fully research. Or else he was going to be stuck with an incubus for the rest of his life.
He could always sleep with him. It seemed like that was all Vox wanted then he would head right on home. It wasn't as if Ollie couldn't get it up for him. He could. But the problem was that Oliver didn't see sex as something to just do. He wouldn't enjoy himself if there wasn't some sort of emotional connection. He didn't do hookups or one-night stands. He did relationships. And relationships often came with sex. That's when he could truly enjoy himself. He didn't know how to separate emotions from sex, The best way to protect himself was not to have sex outside of relationships. Which his little incubus didn't seem to understand.
His growling stomach was what brought him home. His research had brought him no closer to figuring out how to get rid of Vox than this morning. He was going to have to get his roommate involved and he was absolutely dreading it. He hoped to be able to delay it. Maybe with a few more days, he would be able to figure it out. But he had no idea if Vox was going to be able to keep himself a secret from his roommates.
Ollie trudged into his room, dropping his backpack and promptly ignoring Vox as he sat at his desk. Except, he wasn't doing a good job at ignoring Vox as he was peaking at his screen from his peripheral vision. He was trying to figure out what Vox was so obsessed with on his phone. "What are you watching?" He finally asked.
(Hiiii everything is ok, just trying to get through the busy holiday season LMAOO, been either working or sleeping so mentally I’ve been so drained)
At the sound of someone coming into the apartment, Vox perked up. He sat up a bit on the bed, listening and waiting. He wasn’t sure if it was one of Ollie’s roommates or if it was Ollie. Despite him having been a bit of a tease, he stayed quiet, knowing how awkward it might be if one of his roommates let themselves in and saw him sprawled out on Ollie’s bed.
Ollie came into the room, though, and Vox relaxed. “Welcome back,” he greeted casually, like he wasn’t intruding in every sense of the word. Ollie ignored him, and he pursed his lips. He wasn’t a fan of the silent treatment. He enjoyed attention, thrived off of it. When not receiving it, he grew annoyed and grumpy, having a small tantrum like a child. It bothered him. Was he not pretty enough for attention- not lewd or hot enough? It pricked him in a spot where it hurt, and he narrowed his eyes at Ollie momentarily.
Vox’s brows raised as he looked down at his phone. The neighbor stepped off camera and his car was left alone on the screen. “Ah, watching a camera I have in my bedroom. My cat is in there right now,” he hummed, tilting his phone to show the screen to Ollie. On the camera was a fluffy white persian cat wearing a dainty diamond collar, stretched out on the red sheets of the large bed that was in frame.
(I'm glad you're okay!!!!I totally understand. Holidays are always draining not to mention everything else on top of that.)
Ollie raised an eyebrow at him. "You have a camera in your bedroom? I suppose it does make sense, being an incubus. You look back and watch your…couplings." He only hoped the demon's partners consented to be on camera. If not, it was a serious violation of their privacy and just another reason why he wouldn't have sex with Vox. He added it to his mental checklist of reasons why he couldn't with a little question mark beside it.
It didn't matter. it shouldn't. He was not having sex from the demon. He didn't even want a friendship from him. He just wanted Vox to go away and leave him alone. So that he could continue his miserable life. Well, not so miserable as it was tiring. He was doing everything he could to prepare for the future yet rarely ever paid attention to the present. now he wished that he had. Maybe he wouldn't have gotten himself into this.
"Have you decided to leave yet?" He knew the answer would be no, otherwise the demon wouldn't still be lounging on his bed like he owned the place. "Where is your place anyways? I'm assuming not in hell if you're able to watch your room through a camera. I'm not really sure how that would work actually." Did technology work in hell or wherever this demon came from? That would be cool if it was.
(thank you! And ikr it’s chaotic)
Vox made a scoffing sound at Ollie’s assumption about why he had the camera in his bedroom. It was originally for the use of his cat. He would get summoned much more often a few years ago, so it ended up being a great way to make sure his precious Lilith was taken care of. The fact that it was in his bedroom just happened to be a happy coincidence. “It’s for my cat, Lilith. I don’t record me having sex in my bed- I rarely have sex in my bed, I do it in other peoples. I just like to watch my cat when I’m away, I’m quite attached to her,” he explained.
Of course he hadn’t chosen to leave. If he had, he wouldn’t still be there in Ollie’s bed just waiting for him to return from class. “‘Course not. I thought about it quite a bit, but decided you clearly need some company, so I’ll do the generous thing and stick around,” he mused, chuckling to himself. He was toying with Ollie just a bit, trying to get him going. The more worked up he would be able to get Ollie, the better, in his opinion.
“My apartment is on earth. Human technology can’t reach Hell, it just doesn’t work. So, I have a place here on earth. Not sure how close it is in comparison to where we are now, since I have no clue where here is, but it’s surely not too far,” he chatted. He was happy to answer questions. Anything that broke the silence and gave him the opportunity to pick at Ollie’s brain a bit. Feeding was hard work, after all, and he clearly needed to put in all of his effort to get what he wanted from the human. If that meant lots of neutral question, then so be it.
(I told myself being out of school, i was gonna be more active, apparently not oop-)
Ollie wasn't quite sure how much of that he believed. An incubus not wanting to record his trysts? He would think that perhaps it might make more sense to have camera's and record so he could…eat or whatever. He still wasn't quite sure how it worked. Should he do research? Most likely. Was he going to? Probably not. He just wanted to figure out how to get rid of him. None of his research had been very helpful and it was looking like Vox would either have to get bored and go somewhere else or he would have to give in. But Ollie received no pleasure from sex less he had an intimate relationship with them. And that wasn't going to happen with a demon.
He made a face to suggest that he wasn't quite as happy as Vox was for the demon to be sticking around. He would argue that he was perfectly fine on company. He had his friends and while they may be few, that was enough for him. When he was out of college and had more time for it, then he would be available and willing to find a life partner. But that just wasn't in the cards for him right now. Especially not with Vox. Not that Vox would want to stay with him either. Once he got what he wanted, he would be long gone, leaving Ollie.
He cocked his head for a moment. "You don't even know where we are?" He had all day to himself, he could have looked it up. Then again, Vox hadn't left the apartment. or at least he hoped he hadn't. "We're in Pennsylvania. I attend Penn State."
(do you have anything planned to get he two of them closer? like some sort of conflict? maybe one of vox's nemeses catches wind of where he is and ollie really gets thrown into his world)
(LMAO it's ok, I get it. Holidays are finally coming to a close, kinda, so I'm very happy to be done with it. And yeah! Maybe something to do with an ex? Either one of them, I had a little idea for Vox to have an ex that's now a competitor of his, like stealing his 'meals' and such after a bad breakup. Or it could be a different kind of demon that wants to hurt Ollie but Vox is like "no wait this is my human")
Vox watched as Lilith strode into the view of the camera. She was a white Persian cat, looking very clean and well groomed. She was his pride and joy, a true companion that he could trust to not want anything out of him- besides basic care, of course. The cat leapt up onto the bed, stretching out across the wine-colored sheets. She laid down, tail flicking back and forth as she looked towards the camera. It was like she knew that he was watching-she always did. Cats had some sort of sixth sense, and Lilith's was very prominent.
At the face that Ollie gave him, he snickered softly. He was beginning to get a rise out of pestering the other man. As hungry as he was, he guessed he could have a little bit of fun. He knew his own limits, and he hoped that Ollie would give out before he was forced to depart and find something else so he wouldn't starve to death.
Vox hadn't bothered to look up where he was. He hadn't expected being gone for so long, so it hadn't mattered too much to him. He had expected to sleep with Ollie, get a proper meal, and then get 'poofed' back home where he came from. When Ollie let him know that he was all the way in Pennsylvania, though, his jaw dropped a tad in surprise. "Seriously? Why the hell was I summoned all the way over here- I was in California," he exclaimed before laughing in disbelief, "Shit, man, you were really desperate to do some sort of spell. You must be picky if you summoned me instead of one of the other demons in your area."
(Did I die? Yes. But now I am alive. Kind of. Also I love it. Both of them. Whatever you prefer. Ollie is in for a world of confusion.)
Ollie really needed to figure out how to get rid of this demon. He thought it would have been easy. That he would have pulled up some kind of banishing ritual and it would have been done like a snap of the fingers. That Vox would have disappeared as soon as he arrived. But the powers that be wanted to humiliate him for tempting to mess with something that he should have and here they were.
He still hadn't figured out why Vox hadn't left yet. Oliver had made it clear that he wasn't giving this demon anything. He wasn't having sex with him for a multitude of reasons. Vox was wasting his time here. He wasn't getting a meal out of Ollie. The demon was just here to mess with him at this point but hopefully sooner than later he would realize that it was boring and would go. Oliver wasn't looking for a bedmate or to be fed on by some demon. He just wanted to finish college.
Ollie glowered at him. "I didn't know I was summoning you. I wasn't trying to summon anyone. I just wanted some luck for my test and instead I got you. Which was very unlucky on my part."
