Yeong was amused that the dealer had picked dare to start out with. Many options ran through his mind, most things that would end up in the both of them surely getting kicked out of the club with the cops waiting for them. He hummed softly, before making an 'ah' sound as an idea came to mind.
"How about you get up and dance a bit? Good music playing, and I haven't seen you up from this booth all night," he encouraged, nodding out towards the floor that was next to the booths. It was something to start out with, nothing too crazy or risqué. Not yet at least. He would build up to that point. He wasn't crazy, and there was no fun in jumping the gun.
Shiloh grins at Yeong's dare, finding it a reasonable choice to start with. It is perhaps a bit tame but it’s likely for the best to not start off with anything crazy. They glance toward the dance floor, where the music's beat pulses through the club. "A dance, huh? I suppose I can do that" Shiloh says, their expression filled with amusement. They've been comfortably seated in the booth all night, and this challenge is a welcome change of pace.
With a graceful movement, Shiloh rises from their seat, their confidence evident. They sway to the rhythm of the music, showcasing some smooth dance moves on the side of the dance floor. They don’t plan on staying up for long. Despite their plans to cut this short, it’s clear they know how to move with style and grace, and as they dance, they shoot Yeong a teasing glance. "How's this? Is it up to your standards?"
Yeong's eyes were all over the dealer. His gaze dragged up and down slowly, taking in every inch of their appearance. They were attractive, now that he could see them in tighter and revealing clothes. So, this is what they had been hiding under those professional clothes they showed up to the drug exchange. He considered it well worth the wait, eyes lingering on a few choice places before he looked back up at the dealer's face.
"Yeah, I'd say so," he replied with a hum. While he had partially expected, and hoped for, a more mature sort of dance, he would take what he could get. Beggers couldn't be choosers, after all. He waited for the dealer to sit back down, nursing his drink. It was clear that his eyes never left them, like they were the most interesting thing he had seen all night. He thought back to the girl he had been sitting with who had been chatting his ear off about nonsense. Yeah, the dealer was the most interesting thing that had happened all night for sure.
Shiloh can feel Yeong's intense gaze, and it adds a layer of heat to their dance, though they’re keeping it pg for now. They aren’t going to give Yeong a proper show until they feel like he’s earned the privilege. They've always been comfortable in their own skin, and tonight, they're enjoying the attention. As their movements flow with the music, they can't help but notice the appreciation in Yeong's eyes. It seems as though their outfit is turning out to be a good choice.
Once they've finished their dance and returned to their seat, Shiloh catches Yeong's lingering gaze and resists the urge to show signs of amusement. "Glad to hear it.”. They take a sip of their own drink, scheming what questions and dares they’re going to be offering up. “Truth or dare?”
Yeong waited as the dealer sat down, thinking about his next move. He wasn’t easily embarrassed and was mostly an open book. The only thing he wouldn’t want to answer would be deep questions about the cartel, things that outsiders shouldn’t need to know. As great at the cocaine was, the dealer was still new and not quite yet deserving of knowing about some of their more private information.
Yeong hummed thoughtfully, deciding to be as bold as the dealer was. It was a good impression of his character, he thought. It showed he was bold and confident, which he often portrayed openly. “I’ll join you in picking dare,” he said, tilting his head against the palm of his hand. He was interested to see what the dealer would come up with, and he was already thinking about what he would have the dealer admit or do next.
Shiloh raises an eyebrow, their eyes locking onto Yeong's with a hint of intrigue. They are no stranger to the art of daring, having navigated various shades of risk in their line of work. After a moment of contemplation, a sly smile curls at the corner of their lips. They have the perfect dare in mind. This is a good opportunity to keep the evening fun while giving them a chance to properly observe some of Yeong’s skills.
They lean in, their voice dropping to a hushed tone, though loud enough to ensure that their companion can hear them. “I dare you to take a sip of that expensive, aged whiskey at the bar," they say, gesturing subtly to a top-shelf bottle glistening under the dim lights. "But here's the catch," they add, leaning even closer, their warm breath grazing Yeong's ear, "you have to do it without the bartender noticing. If you get caught, it's on you."
With the challenge laid out, Shiloh sits back, watching intently as Yeong contemplates the risk and whether he's up to the task.
(Omg I thought I replied to this i’m so sorry)
Yeong’s brows raised at the dare he was given, an interested look on his face. That was different, but nothing he couldn’t handle doing. Even if he did get caught, he was friendly with the owner because of cartel business, so it wasn’t like he would be kicked out of the bar. “You got it.”
Yeong tipped back the rest of the liquor in his glass before getting up and strolling over to the bar, taking his empty glass with him. He greeted the busy bartender and ordered another paloma. He needed a refill anyways, and what better distraction to have? While the bartender made his drink, he slipped away into the crowd. He wasn’t the type to be missed. His tattoos and general demeanor made him stick out like a sore thumb.
Yeong arrived at where the bottles were kept, and took one final look over at the bartender before he reached over the bar. The bartenders back was turned, and he snatched the bottle up quickly, holding it behind his back. He poured a glass of the whiskey into his empty cup and shot the dealer a look before placing the bottle back at the bar. He kept the glass behind his back as he strolled over to get his paloma from the bartender.
Once back at the table, he set both glasses down with a grin. “Too easy.”
(It’s all good! lol)
Shiloh, intrigued by Yeong's audacious move, maintains a close eye on him throughout the operation. They know Yeong has the skills to pull it off, and the thrill of the forbidden adds a certain excitement to the night. As they watch him slip through the crowd, their heart races with anticipation. Even if the man somehow gets caught, they’re certain that he would find a way to get out of trouble.
Yeong's maneuver at the bar is executed flawlessly. They follow his every move, pleased to see that he was able to pull the plan off without a hitch. This proves of them that Yeong is just as capable as they originally thought. When he returns to the table with both glasses, they can't help but be impressed. “Well done," they murmur with a sly smile, reaching for their own glass.
Taking a sip, Shiloh leans in, their voice low. "What’s next on our little adventure tonight? Or are you ready to call it a win?" They regard Yeong with curiosity, eager to see what other thrills the evening might hold.
Yeong slides into the booth seat next to the dealer. He downs the whiskey, clearing his throat as his nose scrunched up a tad. He wasn’t much of a whiskey drinker. He mostly preferred tequila and other interesting cocktail drinks. Whiskey and bourbon burnt his throat, and vodka was too bland for him. Tequila had the same effect but a bit more of a kick, and he enjoyed the way it tasted much more.
Yeong stretched his arms out, draping one arm across the dealers shoulders. “Why don’t you finally tell me your name? No need to be secretive now after our game, don’t you think?” he hummed. His legs stretched out under the table and he took a sip of his paloma. Surely the secretive detective would get a bit more friendly with him. If not, he might have to hope that the dealer would end up picking truth and he would get the chance to have the answer then.
“Either way, how about we get outta here, huh? Have some more fun elsewhere,” he suggested, a flirtatious edge in his tone.
Shiloh leans into the booth, a knowing smile on their face as Yeong takes a shot of whiskey. They find it intriguing how people's preferences for drinks can reveal so much about them. Try as he might, Yeong can’t conceal the dislike he has for the drink and that’s something that amuses them greatly. "Whiskey not your thing, huh?" they comment with a playful glint in their eye, their fingers tracing the rim of their glass.
As Yeong's arm drapes across their shoulders, Shiloh tilts their head, allowing the contact without resistance. "Kai,” They reply simply. It’s a lie, of course, but they show no signs of it being anything but the truth. Even the people that they came here with are under the impression that that’s their real name. Teetering on the line of the law means keeping one’s identity a secret.
The idea of leaving the bar with Yeong piques their interest, and they meet his suggestion with a sly grin. "What did you have in mind?" They ask, their tone mirroring Yeong’s flirtatious one.
Yeong chuckled, shaking his head. “Fuck no. I don’t know how people enjoy this shit. Fucking burns,” he said. He was a fairly transparent person. He didn’t have much of a need to keep secrets, and was easily open about certain feelings. As long as it wasn’t cartel related, he found himself to be an open book. He didn’t have much of a choice in the matter, knowing that if he did talk too much about the cartel, he would surely receive a beating from his father.
“Kai,” Yeong repeated, sounding it out on his tongue with his thick accent. “Nice name, I like it.”
Yeong hummed, tilting his head to look down at Kai. “We could go to my place- or yours. Don’t really have a preference. It’d be much more comfortable than here, don’t you think?” he said, fingers lightly dragging up and down Kai’s bicep. He wouldn’t mind going back to his loft apartment. It was decently expensive and he enjoyed showing off what the cartel paid for.
Shiloh chuckles in response to Yeong's straightforwardness. "Yeah, whiskey's not for everyone, but it does have a certain charm when you get used to it," they remark, polishing off the last of their drink. Going out isn’t cheap so they aren’t going to waste a drop if they can help it.
The way Yeong repeats their fake name is something they enjoy more than they care to admit. "I'm glad you like it," they say, a glint of amusement in their eyes. It isn’t as though the man has any reason to a doubt them so there’s no need for them to worry about blowing their cover.
As Yeong suggests going to one of their places, their eyebrows raise, and they consider the proposition for a moment. They find themselves drawn to Yeong's confidence and his luxurious lifestyle, even if it comes with a level of danger. They’re playing with fire and they know it. "Your place sounds….comfortable," they reply smoothly. Not only will this be a good way to continue their fun, it will allow them to get a little insider information for work. "Lead the way." Shiloh is curious to see what this evening has in store.
Yeong tipped back his mostly full glass, downing the rest of the drink with seemingly the same idea in mind. He was nicely intoxicated by that point. The alcohol gave him confidence, much needed in his current situation if he were to bring Kai home with him. He dug into his pocket for his smartphone, sending a message to his driver to pull the car around. He rarely ever drove himself places. As annoying as it was, he understood it. Trained drivers were needed in the case of an assassination attempt. It had happened before; an enemy cartel had taken a couple of shots at him when he was out in public. They had thankfully missed, but ever since then, his father made sure that there was always some sort of bodyguard nearby that had his back.
Yeong got up from his spot at the booth, grabbing onto Kai's hand. He walked them to the bar, paying for both of their drinks for the night. After that was done, he walked them outside where a black SUV was waiting for them. He opened the door to the backseat, allowing Kai to get in first before he followed them in. The driver took off towards the apartment. "You'll enjoy the place, it's nice," he hummed, hand resting on Kai's midthigh.
They follow Yeong's lead the alcohol coursing through their veins had making them feel more adventurous and open to the idea of heading to Yeong's apartment. They hadn't been entirely sure where the night would lead. Screwing around with the enemy typically isn’t a good idea after all. And yet they find themselves not caring about the potential consequences. This is just some no strings attached fun. The chances of them running into each other after this is low. It’ll be fine….hopefully.
Rather than dwell on the potential concerns, Shiloh clears their mind and focuses on the present. As they leave the bar, they appreciate Yeong's gesture of paying for their drinks. Outside, the black SUV stands waiting, a stark contrast to the lively street. Shiloh’s interest bubbles, and they couldn't help but take a minute to size up the driver as they climbed into the backseat, Yeong following them.
In the backseat of the car, the anticipation builds, and Shiloh officially forgets about their worries. Yeong's hand on their thigh sends shivers down their spine. They turn to him with a playful glint in their eyes. "I have no doubt I’ll enjoy it," they murmur, their voice sultry.
The driver didn't say a word, just drove. He was a larger man, well built and muscular. He wore glasses to cover his face a shield more of his face, keeping his identity unknown to Kai. Most people in the cartel were fairly secretive. They hid their faces and never identified themselves around outsiders, which was exactly what Kai was. Though they may sleep together, Yeong didn't full trust Kai. Not enough to expose himself fully.
Yeong's thumb rubbed mindless circles against the other's thigh, not thinking too much about the little touches. "Oh, I promise you will," he said with a small chuckle. He was a bit of a cocky person when it came to intercourse. When it came down to skill, he thought that he was fairly good at it. He'd had experience, and plenty of it, to get himself to how he was in the current times. All he had to do now was prove it.
It wasn't long before they arrived at the apartment complex. It was a nice, high-rise building. It looked expensive, having a modern design and large windows. The car parked out front, and he opened up the car door, getting out before Kai did. Once Kai was out, the driver pulled away to go to park elsewhere. He took ahold of Kai's hand once again to lead them to the front door, a man opening it for the both of them. They went to the elevator door and stepped inside. He pressed the button for the very top floor and the doors slid shut before it began to move. "I live on the top floor; whole place is mine."
As the journey to Yeong's apartment unfolds in relative silence, Shiloh can't help but ponder the secrecy that veils the driver's identity. The world of the cartel is one of enigma and caution, and they understand the need for privacy and anonymity. They would be remiss if they didn’t take a minute to study the driver and make a few mental notes. This information could wind up being helpful in the future. This work mindset fades in and out as they get distracted by their companion.
Feeling Yeong's thumb tracing gentle circles on their thigh is an electric undercurrent of desire, and they relish in the anticipation of what awaits them at Yeong's place. The playful and confident banter between them in the car only adds to the simmering tension. “I’ll hold you to that promise,” They reply as their lips curve into a grin.
When they arrive at the high-rise apartment complex, Shiloh takes in the sleek, modern design of the building. It radiates opulence and luxury, reflecting Yeong's status and influence. They step out of the car, and once again, Yeong takes their hand, leading them into the building. The sight of a well-dressed man opening the door for them only emphasizes the exclusivity of Yeong's world.
Inside the elevator, as the doors slide shut and the ascent begins, Shiloh turns their full attention to Yeong. “The whole floor, huh? I look forward to the grand tour.” The night is still young and they plan on having a good time. “I'm looking forward to the view from the top, and not just the one from your penthouse."
Yeong nodded his head, leaning back against the wall of the elevator. “I’ll make sure to do that,” he said in reply to the tour comment. When Kai made the ‘top’ comment, his eyebrows raised and a grin formed on his lips. “Oh yeah? Want to elaborate on that?” he asked, slipping an arm around Kai’s waist loosely and pulling them in close.
The door opened once they reached the top floor, and he led Kai into the main area. It was a large and open living space with modern decor and high ceilings. It was an open floor plan, the kitchen being just off to the side. There was the door to a bathroom nearby, along with a staircase that led up to a large loft where the bedroom was. The front walls were large windows, overlooking the rest of the city.
“Well, this is the place. Pretty open, so I don’t know how interested an in depth tour would be since you can see just about everything,” he chuckled.
Shiloh’s eyes sparkle mischievously as Yeong inquires about the "top" comment. They lean into the embrace, feeling the warmth of Yeong's arm around their waist. With a playful grin, they reply, "Oh, I'm sure you’ll find out at some point.” It’s not like they’re here for any other reason.
The back and forth banter is fun. It can be oh so easy to lose interest in someone once removed from the wild club or bar but they find themselves continuously interested in Yeong and his charm.
Exiting the elevator, Shiloh takes in the sleek, modern design of Yeong's penthouse. The spacious living area and the high ceilings were impressive, but their attention isn’t solely on the decor. "This place is stunning," they comment appreciatively, their gaze alternating between the city view and Yeong. On their salary, they could never afford something like this but it’s nice to have dreams.
Yeong kept his hold around Kai’s waist, walking them over to and up the steps towards the loft. There was a small bar area up there, and he left them to go and pour himself a drink. “What anything to drink? Have just about anything,” he hummed, pouring a small glass of tequila for himself. He dug into his pocket and pulled out the small bag of cocaine, tossing it out the bar counter. “Or some of your product? It’s pretty good shit, though I’m sure you know that.”
Yeong took a seat on one of the barstools, motioning Kai to come over and sit on his lap. He opened up the baggie, pouring a bit of the product down on the counter. He took a small knife from the bar, cutting himself a line and leaning down to quickly snort it into his nostril. His head fell back, a sigh escaping his lips as he felt the rush. “You make it yourself or get it from someone else?” he asked, looking back at Kai.
Shiloh allows themself to be led up into the loft. They then watch as Yeong pours himself a drink and offers them a selection. They briefly consider taking a drink, but the mention of "product" immediately piques their interest. The bag of cocaine that Yeong tosses onto the bar counter is tempting, and they can't resist a small, sly smile. They certainly can't deny that the product is good.
"Tequila sounds tempting, but I think I'd prefer some of that 'good shit,'" They reply with an amused chuckle, leaning in closer. As they move to sit on Yeong's lap, their eyes fix on the white powder laid out on the counter. With a delicate, almost elegant touch, they use the small knife to cut themselves a line. After snorting it, they feel the familiar rush coursing through them.
"Now why would I give away my secretes?" They reply with a sly grin. Their fingers trail lightly along Yeong's thigh as they speak, their eyes locking with his.
Yeong’s arm was back around the others waist once they were sat on his lap, hand settling on their upper thigh. His thumb stroked along the inside of it lightly, just enough to be a bit of a bother. He was quite the tease most of the time, almost seeming to enjoy making his partner squirm more than the act itself. The more riled up and on edge he could get his partner, the better.
“Ah, why are you so secretive, hm? Nothings going to leave this room,” Yeong said, head tilting to the side. It was understandable, though. Dealing was dirty work, and anyone could be a cop.
“Bet I could make you talk, miel,” Yeong added, a flirtatious edge to his tone. His hand slid up Kai’s back slowly, eventually gripping onto the hair at the base of their neck and giving it a good enough pull to tilt their head back. There was a predatory glint in his eyes and a grin on his lips. “What do you think?”
Shiloh can’t help but let out a low, throaty chuckle as they settle onto Yeong's lap. His teasing touch sent delightful shivers through them, and they relish the way he seemed to enjoy keeping them on edge. The anticipation of what might come next is almost as tantalizing as the act itself.
Their eyes lock with Yeong's, a mixture of playful challenge and desire. "Secrets can be quite enticing, and who's to say what might leave this room, and what might stay behind closed doors" they replied, a wicked glint in their eyes. They know how to play this game, teasing just as skillfully as Yeong.
When Yeong's hand slides up their back and his grip finds its way to their hair, Shiloh’s breath hitched. The pull of their head back only adds to the allure. They meet his predatory gaze with a sultry smile, their voice a soft, tempting purr, "You think you can make me talk, huh? I'd like to see you try." The challenge is clear, and they were more than willing to play along in this delicious game of desire and anticipation.
(Do you want to move this to PMs? I can make the thing if you would like)
(Sure thing! And yes please)
