Raine bounded over to Acacia, seemingly popping out of nowhere. She just started talking off the bat "Bro, I'm so hungry bread sounds so good" she threw her hands behind her head while she walked, just like a cartoon character

Acacia leaned subtle away from her, but didnt push her off. "is there a kitchen with waitresses or something? how do we get the food?" she asked one of her cabin mates. "wee got some magical plates and stuff, just wish for your food and you get it!" she explained. wow she thought. i Wonder how the plates are made

Val led her sibling down to the pavilion. She stopped by Acacia, Noting that Raine was walking with the girl. "Hey," she said. "How are you-" she broke off as something overtook her. Her spine seemed to stretch out as it arched back into a painful arch. She levitated a few inches off the ground, and a green light seemed to come to her eyes. Just as quickly as it came, the stroke-like thing was gone.
"-adjusting to camp?" she continued, as if nothing had happened.

Raine looked over at Val as this happened, and kept walking. She seemed like this was a normal occurance

Acacia flinched away, hard. her hand snapped to her waist where a knife was hidden under her jacket. Her eyes shifted at lightning speed, flickering from everyone's face to everyone else's. Upon seeing that nobody was panicking, she relaxed a little; but not much. Her hand stayed by her knife.
She suddenly seemed to realize a question had been asked of her. "Um. Fine, I suppose, if whatever the Hades just happened to you isn't contagious or anything." Her voice had an edge of steel in it, betraying how tense she was.

"Good. It's not. At least I don't think so" Raine said as they reached the dining pavilion. "I haven't caught it"

"ok but what its it!?" her voice sounded very defensive and snappish. she was scared, but she was not about to let anyone know that. "What- what?" now she sounded confused, unable to put words together.

"Geez man. If i knew i would tell ya" She said, backing off a bit. "It's just something that happens I guess" she shrugged

"It's nothing." Val said. "Just a little curse from the gods. Come, on, we'd better hurry. Chiron isn't going to be happy if we're late."

"damn, what do have to do to get cursed like that?" she muttered to herself. but she continued on with everyone else, slightly less apprehensive.

Raine did a little speedwalk toward the dining pavilion, and stopping by the Athena table, wished her friends a good meal, and went swiftly to the Persephone table.

(this will be my departure for now I shall return)

"It's not something I really like to talk about. It-brings back painful memories." Val said, staring at the horizon.

she gave a tiny snort. "Aye. Have fun with that then."
she dug into her food.
(should we skip on to Chiron introducing Acacia, and maybe being claimed?)

Chiron cleared his throat, standing up. "Attention all, we have a new camper. Please welcome Acacia." He gestured for Acacia to stand up. "Child, how old are you?" Chiron asked Acacia.
(also i noticed this has become more of a one-liner. im totally cool with that, jusst wondering if you guys wanna keep it that way or adjust)

She stood, her chin up.
"Sixteen." her voice proclaimed defiance and boldness.

Raine looked up from the lines she was absently tracing into the table with her finger. She smiled. 'This'll be interesting' she thought
