Appearance

Skin tone: Light
Identifying marks (scars/birthmarks/etc): Scars littered everywhere.
Height: 5’10”
Weight: Unknown
Eye color: Varies anywhere within the glitch color palette, and they have no pupils. The sclera of their eyes are black.
Hair color: Completely white with the bottom half dyed some random vibrant color.
Hair style: Usually seen pulled up in a loose ponytail or let down.
Body type: Athletic and thin but well-muscled.
Usual outfit (optional): A general white/grey/black color palette for their clothes, wearing boots or combat boots with black or grey pants and a black shirt, usually paired with any sort of large black coat. In public they also wear shades to hide their eyes. Maybe a hat as well to hide their ears if they don’t have their hair covering them. I wouldn’t say they dress “fancy” but their clothes are typically a bit more formal.

Basic personality: Energetic, talkative, and really friendly. Willing to be friends with almost anyone. They’ve had a difficult life, but they don’t let it slow them down.

Job (optional): They’re a part of the spider-society and fulfill their role in it.
Physical conditions: Glitching.
Mental conditions: ADHD and PTSD

Spider Stuff

Suit: Completely black with very faint grey standard spiderweb patterning on it. Maybe some white highlights on their sides (TBD). Has two main eyes and then two more smaller eyes under them, both are white and iridescent in the light. All four of them widen and contract like spider-suit eyes, but the main larger two are what they see out of. They only have two eyes. (Also see character page gallery.)
Abilities: Normal spider-person abilities plus their “glitching” ability which mainly affects them, but can affect people and objects if wanted. Can mess with electronics. They may glitch randomly. (Note that their whole being doesn’t glitch, only parts of it. Ex. Their hand or part of their face may glitch. When using their abilities in combat, more places will glitch with more frequency.)
Strengths: Agility, speed, enhanced strength, high pain tolerance, can disorient enemies.
Weaknesses: Little-to-no self-preservation, if they use their glitch ability for too long they will start to feel fatigued and the painful effects of their glitching will set in. If this is prolonged, they may fall unconscious.
Backstory: (I’ll keep this brief-ish, if you want a longer version you can browse their character page.) Up until they were 13, they had a pretty normal life. Until, of course, their parents died in a terrible accident and they were sent to live with their aunt and uncle.
At age 15 on a school trip to some science lab there was a breach and a genetically-altered spider escaped, biting them and giving them spider-abilities. They quickly adapted to their powers, assuming the role of a spider-person. But they had to watch their uncle die in front of them soon after they gained these abilities.
As time went on, some more loved ones died. But they were also invited to join the spider-society about 6 months into their being a hero. They quickly accepted.
But of course, as it is being a spider-person, something happened that no one would expect.
Their universe was disappearing. And they couldn’t stop it despite their efforts, which nearly cost them their life. They barely escaped back to HQ, and they suffered the consequences. Their atoms were shifting constantly between existence and non-existence. And they’ve been that way ever since, of course adapting to their glitching over time.

Extra: When used on another person, the glitching will cause excruciating pain as their atoms start shifting between states of existence. Typically while someone is incapacitated by this is when Glitch will detain/contain them.

Sam just kind of meandered around the apartment, waiting for them to come back. She started doodling in her sketchbook, not really paying attention, and ended up with a very detailed portrait of Jackson. She just kept adding to it. Shading, background, details, all the stops. She spaced out as she was drawing
