Henry sighed, opening the safe and pulling out one bottle of the formula, walking over to Victor, "I don't trust you, but, I suppose its fine this once"
Victor took the bottle with a crude laugh, almost a cackle. He then took a needle and syringe, loading it with serum and injecting it into the child. The skin bubbled where Victor had injected the serum, and the bubbling spread across the body in a shudder. Victor then loaded a separate needle with some other formula, and injected into three different sites. The skin didn’t do anything this time, but when Victor hooked the child up to one of his machines, it crackled like fire, losing shape and regaining it in a vicious cycle of death and rebirth. The child opened her eyes.
“Wonderful! Success is mine, once more. Now, my darling…” he turned to the child, “what is your name?”
The girl, barely older than eight, stumbled over her words at first, slurring out a sentence and then taking a moment to think.
“Jane. Jane Fairchild, sir.” she said eventually, barely coherent. “Where am I?” she asked, Victor’s piercing eyes making her shrink into herself.
Henry watched carefully, and when the child shrunk back he stepped forward, "Victor, it appears you might be scaring the poor girl" He placed a hand on Victor's shoulder.
Victor waved Henry off, accidentally smacking the man in the face as he moved his hand. "Don't do that." he said, frowning. The little girl, Jane, repeated her question. "Where am I?" she asked, tugging at the fabric of the hospital gown she was wearing. "You, my dear, are in the laboratory of Henry Jekyll, brought to life by the hand of myself, Victor Frankenstein." he said maniacally.
Henry rubbed his nose where Victor had hit him and frowned slightly, taking a step back. Deciding to let Victor do the talking for now.
(Bump)
(Hi! Haven’t quite abandoned this, but I’m used to my fellow rpers giving longer responses to work with, generally with more detail and pushback hence me struggling to reply. Sorry!)
(Ah sorry, I wasnt really sure what to do. I dont really know everything about these characters so I find it harder to be them than an OC)
