The soldier tilts their head at Resh, concerned. They don’t say anything though, just open the door to let the wolf out. They hold the door open for Resh, waiting for him.
The soldier tilts their head at Resh, concerned. They don’t say anything though, just open the door to let the wolf out. They hold the door open for Resh, waiting for him.
Resh watches the wolf go out, then walks out himself, mumbling a thanks to the soldier. He growls and glares at his leg, trying to keep his weight off of it the best he can. Ugh. Not a great time for this to happen.
The soldier closes the door once he exits, following him back onto the road. They look around a bit. Back on the watch.
The wolf watches Resh, tilting their head at him. It almost looks concerned as well.
( the whole club was looking at her )
(Your mom)
Resh glances at the wolf and shakes his head slightly. I’m fine- He huffs and tries to mask the pain as best as he can, although it’s not working very well.
The wolf huffs at him and moves up next to him, sticking their head under his arm. The soldier watches the two of them, amused. “She’s as stubborn as you.”
Resh glares at the wolf, then sighs and just pats it on the head again. He looks at the soldier and rolls his eyes. “Oh, hush.”
The soldier rolls their eyes at Resh and sighs. “Yes sir. No more commentary from me. Now let’s get moving. If you can, of course.” They have a joking tone as they speak to him.
(……besties? 🥺 /j)
Resh chuckles and shakes his head slightly. “I can move just fine, thank you.”
(Perhaps)
(They don’t even know each other’s names lmaooo)
(Names are overrated)
The soldier laughs quietly for a couple moments at him, and then starts walking. The wolf looks up at Resh. She seems intent not to leave his side, waiting for him to start moving.
Resh shakes his head at the wolf, then pats her on the side a few times. “Come on.” He starts following the soldier, which causes the pain in his leg to flare up again. “Ugh-“
(I feel like I should know what happened to his leg, but I don’t)
(A very bad wound that never got treated properly)
The wolf huffs at Resh, sniffing at his leg before looking back up at him. She nudges him lightly. She seems like she wants to help him.
The soldier slows down enough for Resh to easily keep pace.
(> A very bad wound that never got treated properly)
(….from?)
(Your mom)
(Idk something v sharp)
Resh looks at the wolf, slightly annoyed. “I’m fine. Just need to wait it out, it’s not a big deal.” He sighs and starts walking a little faster, which probably isn’t very good for him, but he doesn’t seem to care.
The wolf growls slightly at Resh, speeding up as well and moving a bit ahead of him.
The soldier looks over at the two of them. “If I didn’t know any better, you just had an argument with that wolf.”
Resh ignores the wolf and glances at the soldier. “Congratulations, you have ears. What, did you think I was talking to myself?”
“I don’t know very much about you, so who knows. Maybe you were.” They look up at Resh for a moment before looking ahead again.
Resh pauses for a moment, then sighs. “Okay, fair enough. Now that I think about it, I do talk to myself a lot-“
The soldier stops suddenly, giving Resh a signal to stay put. They’ll be getting back to the place where the fight broke out in a few moments. They walk ahead, surveying the area. They don’t look very optimistic, given their mannerisms.
(off-key singing ✨I don’t trust youuuuu✨)
(Don’t worry they’ll be fine)
Resh immediately stops walking, staying completely still. He glances around and grips the hilt of his sword tightly.
(Are you sure about that)
