(Child don’t worry the other half of the time he’s forced by someone to properly treat his wounds 💀)

@Morals-are-for-mortals language

Alex: He crouches down next to Resh. “As a medic, that’s a terrible way to treat a wound like this. Need stitches if you don’t have ‘magic healing bullshit,’ at the very least.” He sets the crystals down, and glances at Salmook. “He’ll be fine, don’t worry.” He turns his attention to the blade itself. His hand hovers over it. “This’ll hurt, sorry in advance.” He pulls the knife from Resh’s shoulder.

Resh: He rolls his eyes. “Well, I haven’t died yet.” He jolts as Alex pulls the knife from his shoulder, growling.Fuck—

@Morals-are-for-mortals language

Tseth: He’s handed the knife. He examines it, Resh’s blood still fresh on the blade. “…Interesting.”

Alex: “‘Yet’ is the key word there.” He closes his eyes, concentrating on the light crystals and healing the wound. The crystals themselves glow, and the same swirling patterns as before surround and enter the wound. Within a few seconds the bleeding stops. Soon after, the wound closes, leaving just a faint scar. He opens his eyes. “All better?”

Resh: He nods. “Yeah, fine.” He winces and massages his shoulder, looking at Tseth. “It can’t be that interesting.”

Parvus: He jumps up onto Tseth’s shoulder, staring at the knife with a slightly confused expression.

Tseth: He glances at Parvus as he jumps onto his shoulder. “Well, Parvus agrees. Gold isn’t the typical color of blood where we’re from.” He thinks for a moment, and looks back at the knife. “I am curious, what was your race of people? Or, what do you call yourselves.” He did say he was the Valley elder at one time, but that barely makes sense. Along with the fact that his name is Resh…

(Oh my god Tseth you can’t just ask people what their race is /j)

(Oh my god Tseth. You can’t just ask someone what their race is. Fuck.)

(ESPECIALLY when I don’t have an official name for them yet—)

@im-with-stoopid pets

(the joys of having your worldbuilding so needlessly over detailed that you can name a species just because but you still have no idea what the actual story's plot will be-)

Deleted user

(I have to run most worldbuilding by my friend Luna because we co-own the universe Resh and Juni are from- so I have an idea for an official species name, but I can’t use it because it hasn’t been approved. I do have an official placeholder though, so that’s good-)

Resh: Well okay then “We call ourselves Children of the Light. We… our “blood” isn’t technically blood. It’s highly concentrated Light.” He narrows his eyes. “…Which probably sounds like bullshit.”

@Morals-are-for-mortals language

Tseth: So they’re skykids. Great. What the hell. “…A bit, but probably not for the same reason you’re thinking. Highly concentrated light is what most of the other races in our world are made of… more the fact that your people are the Children of the Light.”

Alex: What “The crystals are also.. I’m not gonna think about that too much.”

Deleted user

Resh: How the fuck does that part sound like bullshit “…What-?”

Parvus: He hops up into Tseth’s head and chitters at Resh, looking weirdly annoyed.

@Morals-are-for-mortals language

Tseth: He sighs. This isn’t going to make any sense. “The children of the light, or skykids, as we call them, are… mostly a mystery. They don’t speak and seem to be confined to specific parts of our world. From what I’ve seen, they only exist to clean up the darkness that our Resh created.” His wings shift slightly as he speaks.

(This sounds like absolute gibberish to Resh rn 💀 and it probably sounds worse to Salmook)

(Autism Stare is just sitting there like “this is horrible can I go home now”)

Resh: He raises an eyebrow. “That sounds… interesting.” He shakes his head. “Probably shouldn’t dwell on that for too long. Let’s get out of here.” He stands up, sprinting to the dead leader and taking his knife. “I’ll be taking this, thank you-“

@im-with-stoopid pets

Salmook: he nods in agreement, still very much confused about the others, but he understands that now isn't the time for that
"That would be… better. Let's go."
