(Screams in I don't want to drag Nav into ANOTHER roleplay, but he's the only character who has any major connection with Salmook-)
(Considering Cada, but she and Salmo literally do not know each other-)
(As for plot ideas, maybe a there's a whole civilization out there, and they just happen to be in their king's garden or something- or like the shiny rock from before does a thing? Or they run into a group of raiders? Or they accidentally unleash a primal evil? Or something, I don't know!)

Resh: He puts his knife away and hops out of the tree, lowering his hood. He ventures further into the forest, and notices a movement in the corner of his vision. He turns to see what it was, only to be greeted by nothing. He narrows his eyes. What the fuck was that? He shakes his head. Probably a trick of the light. He continues walking. A while later, he trips over something, stumbling slightly. He steps back to look at what he tripped over… was that a body..? He crouches down to look at it. Yep. Definitely a dead body. He inhales sharply, and backs away. That movement could have been from whatever murdered this poor person… he sprints back to the group, bursting back into the clearing, clearly distressed.
Juni: Sits up “What happened?”
Resh: slightly out of breath “I… I found a dead body.”
Juni: “What?!”

Salmook: looks up from whatever rock game he was playing in disbelief
"I… I didn't hear you properly, Resh. A what?"

Tseth: He looks up as Resh bursts into the clearing. He didn’t want to talk to him again.. but with the given situation he’ll have to. He walks up to Resh, albeit still keeping a good distance away. “Where was it?”
Alex: “A dead body? That’s just great.” He sighs, and gets up with Tseth.

Alex: “A dead body? That’s just great.” He sighs, and gets up with Tseth.
Resh: Jerks his head in the direction he just came from “Over there. It’s a good distance away, though.”

Tseth: He looks into the forest, where Resh indicated. “Nothing like a murder mystery to spice up the day.”

Juni: Gets up and starts pacing “Fuck, fuck, fuck- what if whoever— whatever— killed that person kills us?!”
Resh: Looks at Juni “I won’t let that happen. To any of us.” He glances at Tseth as he says this.

Alex: “If we did find whatever killed the person, It can’t be much harder than the forest guardian, can it?” He looks back at the dead guardian when he says this.
Tseth: Why did he look at me “We’ll be alright. We’ll just have to kill it first if it tries to kill us.”

Resh: Looks at Salmook “I didn’t see. I was a little too focused on getting away as fast as possible… but it looked painful.” looks at Tseth and Alex “We don’t have any way of knowing that until it tries to attack us.” He pauses. “…Which might be soon. I think it saw me.”
Juni: looks up at Resh, tears in her eyes “I- We- what are we gonna do-?”
Resh: He kneels down next to Juni and pulls her into a gentle hug, resting his chin on the top of her head. “Hey, hey… calm down…” He begins whispering reassurances to Juni.

Alex: “Ah.. right. Sorry.”
Tseth: Acknowledging Resh’s response, he begins searching the forest for any signs of movement. He switches to infrared, to try and see any heat signatures.

Salmook: scoops up his rocks, and pockets the ones he deems good enough. he looks up and around the forest, but there's no way he'd be able to spot anything anyways- the forest is way too… forest-y. he just likes to feel as though he's helping

A human can be seen (not easily but seen) stalking through the edges of the clearing, staying relatively hidden. They lock eyes with Tseth for a moment, then turn and sprint in the other direction.
