Suzy’s jaw drops, “Whoaaaa…”

"I know. What type of stickers are you making? I'm making a phoenix." Hali smiled, showing off the cartoon bird.

Suzy smiles, “Cool! I made Benny! Now I’m drawing Mr. Mason!”

"Awesome!" Asani smiled, drawing in between translations. "I'm making a moth. Moths are sweet but chaotic, and a bit dumb. they're so cute!"

Suzy giggles and nods. “Yeah!”

Asani felt at home here, interacting with girls that were her own age. No.. that wasn't right, she was just a robot, she didn't have an age. But… she did have a consciousness… and memories tickling her brain… not quite there…. Asani shook, no longer responsive.

Suzy looks at Asani, “Are you otay-okay?”

he picked suzy up and faced the two, listening to the conversation too

Asani wasn't responsive, having blocked out the outside world in order to think… and possibly have a panic attack. Hali turned, worried. "Mr…. Derik? Asani's not being alright!"

Derik nods, “I see that…why don’t you give her some space ok?”

"Mkay.." Hali moved to the other side of Benny. "Can you help her?" she whispered to benny.

he wondered what was wrong, and felt honestly a bit of guilt and worry

Derik walks over to Asani and gently helps her up. He then guides her to another room.

he wanted to go and see what was wrong, but he knew he needed to watch the kids, so he stayed

Hali, a bit worried, turned back to the sticker, carefully cutting it out. "I'm sure Asani's just tired." she said, trying to be an optimist.

Suzy looked confused, then just leaned on Benny.

Derik looks at Asani, “Hey…you ok?”

he signed "she's going to be alright they're just taking a break" he went over to hali, still holding suzy. he bent down and held his hand out to her, using the other one to hold onto suzy "d-d-do you w-want me-me to p-pick you u-up?"

Hali nodded meekly.

In the other room, Asani spoke, shifting a bit. "I… I think I was alive…"

Derik pauses, “Okay…? Tell me about it.”

he picked her up too and hugged both of them "d-d-do you g-guys w-want to-to go to the b-ballpit?

Hali frowned and shook her head. "I don't like the ballpit."

"I… I have an age. There are memories…. that I can't quite recall. There was things before a robot. I'm a robot…. but I'm also a kid…."

"t-then the s-s-slide?"

Derik nods, “Okay…” he helps her sit down.

Hali nodded. "I like the slide. What about you, Suzy?"

Asani shook, unsure of anything.

Suzy takes a moment, then smiles and nods. “yeah!”

Derik bends down in front of her. “Okay…wanna tell me about what happened?”

he whirred and took them both up to the long twisty slide, then going down to catch them

Suzy giggles, “You first!”

he signed "me?"

Suzy shakes her head, pointing to Hali.

he chuckles distortedly and nods
