"Standard arcade games, I guess." Adam shrugged. "The old games are the best ones."

Cyrin nods, “Yeah, they are.”

When they got to the arcade, and Adam went to the counter intending to convert some bills into quarters, but instead came back with two little plastic cards. "It's all digital now, that sucks." He complained

Cyrin laughs and takes a card, “I know! You can never just walk in and get to having fun anymore. You actually have to talk to people to play the games.”

"So, what do you want to do first?"

Cyrin looks around, “Lets use, start over here and play each game?”

"Why not?" Adam smiled. "But I refuse to waste my credits on the lame ones."

Cyrin laughs softly, “Okay.”

"So, this one first?" Adam gestured at the closest game to them, which was a weird-looking pinball machine

Cyrin nods, grinning.

Adam scanned his card on the little reader thing, and a little metal ball dropped down into the came. "It says we get three tries"

Cyrin watches over his shoulder, smiling.

"It's probably rigged, but whatever."

Cyrin laughs, “Just try, Adam. Come on.”

(I must go take care of my fur babies, I’ll be back)

Adam repeatedly pressed the buttons to move the little arm things, with absolutely no strategy whatsoever

Cyrin watches, peering over Adam’s shoulder and laughing softly.

"What, do you think you could do any better?"

“Probably not, but I can try. . . I love pinball. If it’s rigged though. . .” He shrugs.

"Well, give it a shot. What's the worst that could happen?"

Cyrin steps back from Adam, laughing softly, "Sure."

"Don't mess up. No pressure."

Cyrin grins and moves in front of Adam. He starts to play the game, concentrating.

"Don't mess up, don't mess up, don't mess up," Adam whisper-chanted

Cyrin shoots him a playful glare, “That makes me more susceptible to messing up.” He teases. He looks back at the game quickly, watching the ball inside the game.

"That's kind of the point"

Cyrin glares at him again and keeps playing.

Adam stopped chanting,and instead watched Cyrin in silence

Cyrin just keeps playing.

(I have no clue how to play pinball- XD)
