Adam stood there awkwardly for a couple of seconds before waving and leaving the coffee shop.

Cyrin watches him walk away, and then laughs softly.

(He’s like- that just improved my day by a lot-)

After a while, Cyrin sends Adam a text, Hey, just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out later?

Adam heard a notification come in and smiled when he read the message. Yeah, definitely! He responded

Cyrin smiles, How about meet at the cafe and go from there? 6?

Adam grinned. Perfect!

Cyrin smiled and then settled in for the long day ahead.

Adam ended up being a bit late to work, which was fine by him

After work, at about 5:30, Cyrin sits down at a table after buying and making himself a coffee, waiting the thirty minuets for Adam to arrive.

Adam got off of work early and hung out in the park for a while, cause he felt like it would be weird to show up before 6. At about 5:45-ish, he started walking to the coffee shop.

Cyrin sat there, drinking his coffee and scrolling through his phone. Looking, for all the world, bored out of his mind. Which he was.

Adam walked into the coffee shop at exactly 6:00, because yes.

Cyrin doesn’t look up but does wave, “Right on time, Adam.”

Adam grinned and sat down across from Cyrin. "So, how's your day been?"

Cyrin put his phone away, finally looking up, “It was long, but productive, yours?”

"Just as long, but probably not as productive."

Cyrin laughs, “Can I get you a drink? Or a snack?”

"I'm good for now. Thanks, though"

Cyrin nods and goes quiet for a moment, “So. . . Um. . .” He laughs softly, “What do you wanna do?”

Adam shrugged. "I"m good with whatever"

Cyrin sighs, “Pick something. I chose what we did the other day.”

"Have you ever been to the arcade over by that Italian restaurant?" Adam grinned

Cyrin pauses and then shakes his head, “No.”

"wanna try that?"

“Sure.” He smiles, getting up and grabbing his drink.

Adam got up too, and led Cyrin out of the shop and down the street

Cyrin follows, humming softly to himself, “So. . . What kind of games are at this arcade?”
