Reo hesitates a second longer, watching Lixian’s door.

(The only thing he can blame his manipulativeness on is his fam— cause— you already made him)

After a while, Lixian walks out, storming out the front door while curing under his breath.

Reo watches and then slowly follows, quiet, just wanting to help Lixian. He watches as he walks farther ahead, knowing Reo should probably go home before something worse happened, but. . . He just wanted to help Lixian.

Lixian gets in his car, slamming the door shut and glaring at Reo.

Reo lifts his hands in a defeated jester, turning his back to Lixian, walking away while putting his hands into his pockets. He stares at the sidewalk, kicking a pebble.

Lixian growls and drives away, his eye twitching. Later that night, he drives back home, stumbling into the apartment. He was drunk. Very drunk. He slumps against the wall, grumbling.

Reo was sprawled out on the couch, his arms crossed behind his head, eyes closed and he seemed very relaxed.

He just- stays over a Lixan’s house— force of habit- like- I dont wanna get called in the middle of the night and make an excuse to my parents- XDDD

Lixian grumbles, stumbling into the kitchen. “Fucking hell…” He mutters.

Reo opens his eyes, sitting up slightly, “L-Lixian-. . ?” He murmurs, biting his lip.

Lixian huffs in response, pulling out some liquor and downing it.

Reo gets up, slowly walking towards him, “LIaxian. . , you shouldn’t be drinking this much. . .” He hesitates, then reaches over, placing his hand on the bottle slightly.

Lixian swats his hand away. “Leave me along, fucker.” He takes another drink.

Reo bites his lip, watching the bruise quickly form, “Lixian. . . You know what happens when you get drunk like this. . .” His voices is even softer than normal and he looks down, silent.

Lixian growls, “Leeave me alonee before I maake yoou black and bluee…” his speech was slurred. Not good.

Reo bites his lip slightly, taking a step back, “Lixian. . . Please. . . St-stop drinking-drinking. . .”

Lixian doesnt listen, downing the rest of the bottle. “Yoou donnt tell mme whaatt too doo.”

Reo takes another step away, shaking his head, “Please. . . St-stop. . .” He whispers.

(When I say he whispers, its REAL fucking quiet, cause he normally whispers)

(Mhm)

Lixian takes one step, and falls, knocking his head against the wooden counter.

Reo rushes forward, catching Lixian, “Lix-Lixian-“ He holds onto him gently, worry in his gaze while inside, his mind was screaming at him to both help and get away from the heavily drunk man.

Lixian was out cold, going limp in Reo’s arms.

Reo whines, setting Lixian down and backing away, not sure what to do in the situation. He resulted in leaving him there, throwing a blanket over him and retreating to the couch, watching the light bruises form on his fingers for a moment before laying down and closing his eyes. The bruises would be almost gone by morning.

Lixian slept through most of the day, then at around lunch, he groans and slowly opens his eyes.

Reo had stayed on the couch the whole time, not even eating. If Lixian caught him eat his food. Reo didn’t want to know what would happen. It could be on of the rare things Lixan didn’t yell at him about, but Reo wasn’t going to risk it. So, he sat there, mute and just on his phone.

Lixian sits up, groaning. “Ow…” he rubs his forehead. “The hell…?”

Reo looks up, silent and watching him.
